The GameCube was Nintendo's least popular console? Where on earth do you get your gaming facts from, CNN?

The games that have a Nintendo Network icon are most probably going to be the games with some sort of online connectivity or function relating to the network.

Doesn't the final fantasy music game have one as well as fire emblem and those are only dlc cases right?

No, I'm aware that the GameCube didn't sell quite well when it released, but I wouldn't deem it their least popular console based solely on its financial disaster, 'specially seeing as how the Wii's success was mainly inspired by the criticisms the GameCube received - and I don't feel the console died per se, seeing what happened with the Wii being 100% backwards-compatible with the GC's software and peripherals. And despite its failure sales-wise, we all know that the GC came to offer us many unforgettable gaming experiences on Nintendo's part. Yet I digress; I suppose this may be considered based solely on a perspective.

I like the GameCube better than the Wii, personally, but that doesn't mean I'm going to say that it is/was popular with the game-playing populace. In the end, sales are the best indicator of general popularity.

Uggghhh, blue and yellow? Is there a worse colour scheme out there? Now, the red and black on PS3 games, I like.

I guess the yellow in there is to catch people's eyes and to read the whole name "Wii u" and not Wii. ---You know how some people pick up things and not read it twice, especially if their in a rush.

Kinda reminds me of the Vita boxes. It looks fitting on Fifa but so much on Assassin's Creed.

I feel mixed on the yellow line. On FIFA it works quite well, but on Assassin's Creed... not so much.
Regarding the popularity of the Gamecube, does it really matter it was their least popular console? All that statement says is that it didn't have the same kind of popularity the NES, SNES, N64 and Wii had. It's not like the thing bombed; it made money for Nintendo.
