Also, I'll repeat yet again for the people that don't seem to understand: Microsoft has a policy for multiplatform games requiring them to be launched simultaneously. Ubisoft can no longer legally release the game unless they cancel the 360 version which will just piss off even more people.

Tecmo Koei got around the simultaneous release with Razor's Edge.

We don't actually know for sure if Microsoft's supposed policy is the main reason Ubisoft delayed the game.

I think it's kind of awesome. It's free. I'll be there to check it out. Whining in the corner any longer isn't going to accomplish anything other than make us look like children. The outraged protestation phase is over, Ubisoft has responded with a pretty sweet compromise, and now it's time to be mature about things and cut our losses. If you watched the video explaining this "challenge mode" (or whatever it's called) than you know that the team directly stated they will be using this new window of time to add "new levels" and "bosses." So they ARE making use of the time to further refine the game, which many of you stated would appease you to a certain degree othern than Ubisoft simply "holding the game hostage."

I was originally angry, because there was going to be a delay for a game fully developed. I thought this game was going to be multiconsole, months after the Wii U release anyways.
It now looks like the game is being developed and polished during that time.
They're giving us a small free trial to shut us up. I'm pretty happy. Development hasn't stopped and we get a very nice bonus worth countless hours, at least 100 challenges for free.

I'm actually glad to see that quite a few people are accepting this peace offering. They're using the time to add content and giving us a fair share of free gameplay, much more than a demo. I mean, yes, I'm a tad disappointed I don't get to play this in a week but I am excited for April now. And I doubt they'll take this one back, they are trying hard to make peace again.

This is pretty great compensation for the delay. I'll definitely be downloading it, and I do sympathize with the developers. In no way is this their fault.
