Even better, let me upload my 3DS Pokemon's stats from X and Y to the Non Specific Action Figure and make something stronger then we will ever imagine in our entire lives.
Boom, you just made a bajillion dollars, Nintendo, thank me later.
The only key to "winning" anything in any industry: Create popular products. They're selling games they need to make popular and interesting games. The fact that the month following the release of Pikmin 3 in Australia has Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101 and Rayman Legends is something. I see no need to complain or try to come up with amateurish solutions or theories. They know what they're doing as much as anyone does it's just a hard and brutal world.
On the other thing, the only bit I dislike is the fact that @LzQuacker deleted a particular song. Possibly not kid friendly outside of the 90s, possibly off topic but damn. The most consistently listened to alternative artist from the last 90s. A fantastic sound and possibly one of the best tracks of the last couple of decades. I get it and I understand the allegedly off-topicness but I'm still slightly disappointed. So I'll annoy everyone else by not saying what that song was
Nintendo's actually starting to rise upwards in the war(Wow, calling it "war" just sounds wrong), probably cause of a more frequent game launch, better advertisement, more new concepts. The problem is, is that PS fans and Xbox fans are play CoD all day and don't bother to say "hey, this Pikmin 3 game looks fun"

while this is arguably a stupid statement, the fact that Pikmin's cuteness and bright colors would be a turn-off for some people (or other similarly impressive games that are bright and colorful) is something I can't not hate.

Aside from perhaps a bit of bluntness in the wording, it's a pretty true statement and we all know it.
Just for giggles, the last Call of Duty sold about 22 million on the 360 and PS3. And there are about 160 million PS3s and 360s out there.
Yes, that 14% that enjoys a game people here look down upon is ruining gaming. Let's all point and laugh, and throw stereotypes at the other 86%. The ignorance here is unbelievable, but not surprising.
Then we should start accusing the "other side" of the same. Only 31% of Wii owners got Wii Sports Resort but lets just assume that all of them got the Wii purely for that sort of game and that they are "casuals".
Although lets just ignore the fact that only 7 of the top 20 best selling 360 games don't have some variation of CoD, Halo or Gears in the title. Lets also ignore the fact that about the same amount of games in the top 20 best sellers on the Wii are not variations on Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, Just Dance, Mario Party and so on. I think it's pretty clear what sort of content appealed to the owners of those platforms the most. Obviously we as enthusiasts have incredibly diverse collections but that's probably not the norm, lets not put our heads in the sand.

Who has said the Wii is only for people who like Wii Sports? I love how you rationalize for the other side by making up false claims.
If the top selling Wii games are casual games, and the top selling games on the PS3 and 360 are FPS games, that doesn't go in either favor. Both sides should not want to be stereotyped as such.
But that's right, this is a Nintendo site, therefore we shift the goal posts when it works in the Nintendo fans favor.
I'm going to answer my own rhetorical question, and say no one. Why am I answering my own question, am I crazy?
No, I'm just not paying attention to the justifications for false stereotypes that are impending. Everyone here can continue thinking that FPS sales are indicative of the user base on other consoles, but the sales on the Wii aren't indicative of the user base on Nintendo consoles. Other peoples' ignorance does not bother me, and I'm slowly caring less and less about showing people the light.
Continue the hypocritical, superiority facade. We've already seen quite a few users leave recently, pretty soon the rabid Nintendo fanboys will have their wish and this site can demoralize into nothing but false accusations and flaming towards the other systems.

You missed my point, I was saying both generalisations were on par. Saying that the 360/PS3 are for brown gritty war games is no better than saying that the Wii was just for hyper casual party games. There is some truth to it because both platforms have defined themselves as on or the other. There are definitely 360s being used as CoD and Halo machines just as there are Wii's being used as Wii Sports and Wii Fit machines.
I didn't at any point accuse you of claiming that the Wii was a Wii Sports machine. I just made a point that you hear it, it is a thing and there is some validity to it... but only as much validity as the war shooter generalisation of 360/PS3 owners.
[edit]
my intent was actually to get the people accusing the PS3/360 of being a war FPS machine to look at the Wii equivalent stereotype. Consider how they probably don't follow that stereotype either. Make their generalisation of PS3/360 owners look as ridiculous as it actually is. I was actually defending your point if you don't mind.
