I have been looking at ESO lately and I have been pondering the possibility of a wii u version. I know Bethesda said they have no Wii u games in development (though they said that they may work with it) but I think it could be possibly for it to go on wii u, the second could be helpful for many situations like a map. Why do you think there not making a wii u version? Would you want a Wii u version?

For the same reason many 3rd party developers are not developing for Wii U.

Nintendo is marked as kiddie console therefore they are not making much "M" rated games for it.

And that is the problem.... Developers dont seem to have faith in the console, not because its a 'kiddie' console, its because there arent many first party games tempting anyone in. Once Zelda's and Mario Karts, Smash Bros etc are released, im sure that will give a boost in sales, and hopefully when sales are better, devs will start appreciating the system more, and games like Elder Scrolls Online will appear.

Not enough 1st-party games? 3rd-party devs won't make Wii U games because the system might fail.
Enough 1st-party games? 3rd-part devs won't make Wii U games because they can't compete with Nintendo.

Nintendo can never get a break, can they?

Elder Scrolls online probably won't come to WiiU because Bethesda doesn't believe in Nintendo's online infrastructure. They don't know if nintendo's online infrastructure can hold a 100-200+ person multiplayer format. XB1 & PS4 may not be able to either. But since Xbox & PS has shown their ability to do 32 & 64 person multiplayer, Bethesda will give it a chance. Nintendo just started aggressively pursuing online multiplayer. What would give Bethesda any confidence nintendo can pull it off?

It shouldnt be about competing with Nintendo, it should be about showing what your product can do on a Nintendo system.

Watchdogs will be a good example of that. So shoud Assassins Creed IV.

First party games should be a given!

We don't need The Elder Scrolls Skyrim, it's such a boring game and the PS3 & Xbox 360 have had so many technical problems with the game, thank god it's not on the Wii U.

@Beevdog good argument, any game not scheduled for release on the Wii U sucks

Nintendo's online infrastructure would need a lot of work to even be able to handle TESO. (IMO)
