I'm certain that Pokkén Fighter will eventually be released on Wii U at some point (I'm guessing 2016 at the earliest, though it may arrive as soon as late 2015), but not after some time as an arcade-exclusive title first, as is the norm with many arcade-style fighters. Plus, the home console edition may also include exclusive content, such as additional fighters, arenas and what have you.
If anything, the Wii U version should be UPGRADED. Most arcade games tend to be displayed on CRT-style screens (at least that's how they were the last time I was at an arcade), so if anything, the Wii U version will have significantly superior graphics, or at least, a higher resolution.
Pokken yes, Tekken don't know but we already got one, also didn't hear much about Tekken 7 but I did hear about LC and damn, bunch of babies always crying about character rosters, nothing new but if she is removed then that is disappointing, one less character for all to play as.
I hate Tekken, and I hate that the same people will be behind Pokken, which means there's an extremely high chance that it's gonna be absolutely terrible - but if there's one thing I hate more, it's when certain characters are getting removed because some jerks complained about them, especially in a fighting game, where every character (except for clones, possibly) has their own unique traits and moves.
I'm pretty sure Tekken 7 is running on the same same engine as Pokken is. It could be possible that Nintendo is trying to get Namco used to developing for Wii U by paying them to create a game like Pokken. Then they would know how to get their engine to work on Wii U for other games, like Tekken 7.
Anything about Tekken 7 being PS4 exclusive would mean that Sony paid them off, but I honestly wouldn't worry about it. Developing Pokken is probably just as expensive as Sony paying off Namco for Tekken 7, so it's more about the money.

I'm not sure Ninty would pay them to create an arcade game in any case I though it was a collaboration between The Pokémon Company and Namco.

If it gets Namco more familar with developing on Wii U and gets a game in the process, I'm pretty sure they would. Nintendo is almost surely paying for most of Pokken, given that it is their IP. Nintendo does basically the same thing for Mario Kart Arcade and F-Zero AX, which was an arcade collaboration with Sega. It doesn't matter whether it is arcade, because the game is still being developed by Namco, regardless of where it ends up, and that costs money that Nintendo is surely dealing with, given the IP is Pokemon.
If Nintendo wasn't paying Namco for Pokken, I'm sure it would be nonexistent.

Namco have already worked on a few Wii U games like Smash, Tekken, TANK TANK TANK etc and the collaboration is with The Pokemon Company, not Nintendo.
Ya, but this isn't Namco's IP. Even if the collaboration is with Pokemon Company, Nintendo could still be paying for it, because they are Nintendo 2nd party. Kind of like how Nintendo pays for Hal Labs games or Retro games. Nintendo pays for most of 2nd party stuff, because they are still the lead company.
My point is that Namco isn't paying much, if anything to get this game made, because of either Nintendo or the Pokemon Company. It's far more likely that Nintendo specifically went up to Namco to make Pokken, than The Pokemon Company. EVEN IF The Pokemon Company wanted to make Pokken a thing, they would still have to go talk to Nintendo for permission, because they are second party. I don't understand why I have to explain this s***, honestly.
EDIT: Nintendo paid for Namco to help develop Smash Bros, and the collaboration in Tekken with Nintendo costumes was probably free. This is about as collaborative as Smash Bros. is, but it's The Pokemon Company's IP. Nintendo is still largely in charge of what The Pokemon Company does, so I don't understand what you are trying to say.

Because you're not making sense. The theory that Nintendo are gonna pay Namco to make an arcade game to make them familiar to with the Wii U when they have already made actual Wii U games doesn't make sense.
I'm not pretending to know the ins and outs of the collaborationn but it's possible (if not more) that Namco are paying Ninty for the use of Pokemon license like the anime, trading cards etc and the decisions of The Pokemon Company are not the decisions of Nintendo, it's a complex matter but they have gone off Nintendo's strategy before like when they made Pokemon mobile games.

Yes I am. Nintendo is part of the collaboration. EDIT: Forget the video, I posted the wrong thing.
Tekken Tag 2 is just a port, and Pokken obviously has better graphics than that, which means it is probably running on same engine as Tekken 7. It's probable that Nintendo is paying them to make Pokken on the same engine that Tekken 7 is using, to make things easier for Namco in development for Wii U, while getting a game in the process. All they would need to do is pay Namco to port Pokken to Wii U, and that would basically be paying Namco to know how to port ANY game using that engine.
I agree with you that the Pokemon TCG and such are mostly decisions of The Pokemon Company, but this is a video game, which Nintendo is the company they are dealing with to get it done, as they have 95% of the time.
@arronishere
Ya, and Nintendo collaborates with Namco and The Pokemon Company. To put it simply, it basically makes 0 sense for Pokken to be made, unless Nintendo eventually brings it to Wii U.
Namco did the exact same thing for Tekken Tag 2. They released the arcade machine a year prior to console release. This is basically the same scenario with Namco, except they are collaborating with The Pokemon Company. The Pokemon Company than deals with Nintendo for a console version, because it is the only console it would make sense to release it on, since they are 2nd party partners.
They aren't going to leave it at arcade, and the only console that makes sense to release it on, is Wii U. That's where Nintendo comes in, unless none of them want any of it to make sense.

I heard that Tekken 7 won't even come out on the Xbox One. If that's the case you can probably bet that there won't be a Wii U version
If that is true, I wonder is Sony bought exclusive rights. Either way, it would be a major boon for Sony if they can get exclusive rights to two of the biggest fighting game series.

The Tekken team is working on this? Man, I have never liked how Tekken plays or its button scheme. I've never been a Tekken fan.
Back in the 90's I was a huge Virtua Fighter fan, and today, Dead or Alive is the main 3D fighter that I like to play(although I loved VF5)
Hopefully, even if the Tekken team is making Pokken plays nothing like Tekken.

From my understanding and I might be wrong here, Sony didn't buy exclusive rights Namco said it was a pain in the butt to work with MS for the Xbox 360 version of Tekken 6. So unless things changed with MS they wouldn't bring Tekken 7 to Xbox One.
