Ya, for me the only must have Switch games are Super Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Splatoon 2 is really a remix of the original, I played that to death. ARMS looks boring. And the 2 top rated and best selling games, Zelda: BOTW and MK8D are Wii U games. Loads of indie ports, 3rd party ports, Nintendo ports.

MP4 is years away from release. Yoshi looks interesting but that too is a year at least away. Then factor in the Switch's high price, expensive accessories, no VC, crappy voice chat solution, no apps, no browser, no 3rd party support, etc. Why would I be in any rush to buy one? And given what happened to Wii U it's far too early to call this a success.

@BigBadJohn The only answer I can give and retain any self respect would therefore be 1-2 Switch.

There are other games there that I personally wouldn't buy, but they're all solid games as far as I'm led to understand.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

My friend was able to order a Switch bundle online from Walmart dot com. (Those email alerts really work!) Anyways, his console arrives tomorrow in the mail but he is currently working out of the state. He asked me to go by his house tomorrow and pick up his console because, obviously, he doesn't want a Switch bundle just sitting on his front step for days on end.

He got the console, MK8 Deluxe, and a pair of the neon yellow Joy Cons for $462. Not a bad deal at all. He plans on getting 1, 2 Switch next and we can't wait to play that.

Anyways, whenever my friend returns, I'll be able to play some Switch with him. I'm pretty excited!

@gcunit They are all of varying quality but 1-2 Switch is by any standard a poor game.

I bought a Switch day one and Zelda alone justified the purschase.. That's for me though. As at the time I didn't own a WiiU.
My Switch gets some love since I finished Zelda but it took Shantae and MK8Dx to get it on again. 1-2 Switch has been played for a couple of hours at most and even when friends come over it doesn't negate too much attention, so I wouldn't recommend buying this until its in its rightful place the bargain bin. NEO GEO titles are cool too my wife n I have had some fun playing old school style on the dinky joy cons. I may get Arms but still kinda in the fence if there's a sale I may just nab it then.
Since buying Switch I have finally, after getting my Big N fix from 3DS for years I went ahead and got a WiiU. With all the goodies on there my Switch gets minimal time.
Having said all that I'm happy with my Switch for the time I've had and everything on the horizen and I'm about to drop some money on Gunvolt so I'll be playing on it again soon. But I'm enjoying the hell out of the WiiU, but again I'm a late adopter and have shed loads to catch up on.

Anyway I guess what I'm trying to add to the conversation is that if your not gagging to get your hands on a Switch right now don't worry your not missing out on too much. It's great, feels good, looks good all around really well made and impressive handheld/console hybrid but games are pretty thin on the ground and I'm finding it hard to play on just the Switch alone. If you leave it for now catch up on your back catologue it won't take you long to catch up to early Switch adopters later.
God that was long 😐 sorry

Some of Mario Odyssey is seriously giving heart palpitations.... that plumber is trying to kill me!
