All you need to know about that survey is that the same group of objective gamers also found that the PS4's touch pad was the most innovative controller feature.

There's no way. They didn't even mention half of the appeal of each system, including:
1. NFC, camera, 9-axis on the GamePad
2. Hand recognition on the Xbox One controller
3. Online subscription prices
4. Cost
5. Periphials
6. BC
7. Games
etc.
This is far from being a legitimate poll. Even if people actually voted, it was probably mainly people that were going to buy the Xbox One or PS4, anyway. I plan on getting an Xbox One as well, so I don't really get why people have to try and make one console look better than the other. Someone might have a preferred game console, but that will never stop anyone from considering another console along side that if you really enjoy video games.
I'm sure the Wii U will make up a lot more than 1% of the holiday sales, but it doesn't surprise me that the two new systems will sell more. They are new, and that's just the way things go in this industry. That being said, I'm sure the XBox One and PS4's will probably be sold out soon. So the Wii U may lead sales in December because that's going to be the only choice. Super Mario 3D World is going to drive sales like crazy too!

I'm going to get a PS4 as well, probably not until a year from now though. The game lineup looks horrid to me at the moment.
I'll start by saying I have a wii u and don't have any plans for a ps4one at this time.
Xbox/Sony fans are very competitive and are known to spam survey sites and troll each other's products. Go to amazon and look up ps4 reviews. Half are listed as broken on arrival. I doubt this to be true. Sony would have still won if this was a fair game but the wii u would have had a much higher percentage.
All I got to say is that this "poll" is obviously lacking in legitimacy. Even if you want a PS4, you have to realize that this poll was not accurately taken.
The placement of this "poll" was obviously convenient for those who planned to buy a PS4. Most of the people that voted PS4 probably went and got one yesterday. I'm not entirely sure if the PS4 launch day accounts for every person out there. People could have potentially had a Wii U during the vote.
This "poll" is wrong on so many levels that it's laughable. We might as well give suggestions to the poll taker to what they should do next time to make it more accurate, or suggest that someone else be in charge since the original poll taker obviously doesn't know how to poll correctly.
BTW, Sony is one of their advertisement partners. This poll is complete BS. http://intergi.com/

Just wait for the holidays to actually happen. The PS4 and Xbone will sell out through the new year, just like the Wii U did. They'll post comparable numbers - about 3.5 million units each, which is exactly what the Wii U did. It's the coming year that I'm interested in, not this holiday season that will obviously see enthusiasm for two brand-new consoles.

I can't see Xbox One selling 3.5 million this holiday in only 13 markets (not even half of Europe!).
The thing about the survey is that they aren't telling where they got their information from, so it could be from specific bias sites for all we know. Not only that, but it also only mentioned about those that want to buy one this holiday, not whether you already own one. Let's not forget the report that Gamestop/Target were selling out all their Wii U bundles, and the report involving those that bought a Wii U because they couldn't get a PS4.
