I don't think the Mario costume has anything to do with America, though I lived in Kyoto for years, which is very close to Osaka, and I'm not sure what he's talking about. Then again Kyoto is one of those cities with a lot of pride and most of us in my university only ventured out maybe once a month.

I feel like Dr. Mario as an alt is nearly inevitable. Also, who thinks that alts might be unlockable? Not all of them, of course. Male/Female alts shouldn't be unlockable and should be available as soon as the original is, but like, Dr. Mario or Wire Frame Mac could require some amount of matches or a certain number of kills in a single play session or some other feat like an event match, or something.

Yeah I was thinking that. Ordinary color swaps would already be available from the start. But the more wild designs and outfits would require to be unlocked.

Loving the fact Prime 2's Light Suit made it in as an alt colour, it looks fantastic. I'm hoping the Dark Suit version is still in too.
I've often thought it was misleading calling these costumes - they're just alt colours - but I'm liking the fact that actual alternate costumes are appearing to be more common (Little Mac).
I've been hoping for a Veteran reveal like everyday for the last 3 weeks.
