Cool.

I hope you can turn of the mini-percentages on the characters though. Looks ugly.

This is a pretty neat effect. It'll be funny seeing Rosalina, Zero Suit Samus, Peach, Diddy Kong, and Luigi become steaming hot. There's so many small details in this game, it's incredible.

I guess this in turn is a substitute for the canceled "damaged clothes" effect Brawl was going to have.

Actually, this steam effect reminds me of the fatigue effect that was cut from Brawl in which characters would look noticeably roughed up the more damage they took, such as cracks forming on Meta Knight's mask.

I think I'd have preferred this, but I imagine the steam is easier to see in motion and is easier to implement

And they don't risk offending anyone with this method.

Hello @operative. Welcome to nintendo life.

So they heat up when they get to 150 damage.. What's next? They become on fire when they reach 300%?

(You're awesome if you get this reference)

Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

It'd be cool if characters were showing fatigue through their idle animations to add with the steam effect.

12 days until E3. I hope we get more information on modes, stage builder, release dates etc. I really want a Custom skin maker so I can make characters look even more epic.
