@Moorpheel: The different outfits and faces are probably just palette swaps for the M/F versions, so I think there will definitely be more.

I guess there should be at least four designs per gender (one for each basic team color), but if the second male villager's hair is any indicator, we may get more variety than just simple recolors.

After all, the DS/Wii Animal Crossings introduced the different hair styles and hats.

While it was an easy call ever since Male Wii Fit Trainer was announced, the different clothes/eyes/hair is a very nice touch.

Everyone saw this coming, but that doesn't make it any less pleasing. The different clothing and face styles are nice to see. Hopefully Villager will have a lot of nice costumes like this. There's plenty of clothing that could easily work for the 3 team colors, and both male and female variants means two complete sets of costumes. Wario is no longer alone in this regard with Wii Fit Trainer and Villager around. Hopefully we'll see more of this for other characters.

The girl model with the pink hair slightly scares me

Not confirmed, but we shouldn't be shocked to find that Wireframe Mac has his own pallet swaps, separate from Little Mac's own pallet swaps.

Probably never will play as her, but very nice nonetheless. I wonder if she's a psychopathic murderer as well.
