What WarioWare newcomer would you like to see?

I would be happy with any WarioWare character, but I prefer Kat and Ana because they’re my favorite WarioWare characters and they were the only ones from the series to physically appear in Brawl.

I'm not really interested in any of them

I remember in Melee when Wario, Meta Knight and King Dedede were mere trophies. Then they became playable in Brawl. So following that logic, if any WarioWare characters were to become playable now; Kat & Ana would be the newcomers. Mona has potential to be playable too with her several jobs making for useful and varied attack moves. I don't see the appeal for Ashley.

@DreamyViridi: You're idea of the trophies is interesting. Pit was the same way as well, even with a sneaky "will he fight again?" allusion in the description. What's also intriguing about Kat and Ana is that they are also the only WarioWare characters to have their own trophy in Brawl.

They would have to fight similarly to the Ice Climbers sine they're a pair, but they could easily avoid being clones because they would be much faster and I imagine fighting with two swords would be different than with two hammers.

What would make Mona cool is that she could have a ton of costumes to wear because she has a new appearance in every WarioWare game.

Ashley actually does have appeal because she's one of the most popular characters in the WarioWare series, if not the most.

Ultimately, I would be very surprised if there is a second Wario character, but the most logical choice has to be Kat and Ana. As I've just mentioned, they're the only WarioWare characters to appear physically in Brawl as an assist trophy and they're also the only ones with their own trophy other than Wario himself. I think Sakurai also likes ninjas, so that would only help their cause.

LeVideoGamer

@DestinyMan None of them. I don't think Wario needs another rep.

@DestinyMan - Exactly, my trophies concept is what has me thinking for Smash 4 newcomers. I have a couple in mind but I won't say them yet. My lack of appeal for Ashley is because I can't think of moves for her. She doesn't do very much, I mean yeah, she's popular and all that hocus-pocus but what can she do that's from the games? I don't think she'd work playable-wise.

I remind you, not having any skills in fighting has never been an issue in the Smash Bros. franchise.

Guess you haven't seen F-Zero Densetsu.

He's also a bounty hunter. So I'm sure he's trained in combat.

Link's attacks have low K.O. potential when he was in Brawl; Forward Smash until the 2nd hit, Up Smash, Spin Attack (the only exception was his Down Smash). Hell, even Toon Link is better than Link.

Yeah, that's Down Tilt. I actually almost forgot his Dtilt could spike. .-. They haven't said anything about removing any of his spikes, except for the new Dair spike they just added, which they said they might remove after some testing, to see if it's too powerful or not.

I know. But with that logic they should remove Ganondorf's, then. His Meteor Smash is the most powerful. But who knows.

But pulling his spike off is hard if you're playing against a decent player. Unless you mean power as in it's knock-down?

Haha, I actually don't like playing as Brawl link (and sure I won't like Smash 4 link either) mainly because of his appearance. I'd choose melee Link, though, because I love his sound effects and maybe because Melee link's colors are brighter than in Brawl, haha.

Pyoro. ._.

lol, but seriously, I'd choose Ashley. She's my 2nd favorite WarioWare character, right after 9-Volt.

But if anything, I think it's more likely that Kat and Ana will be playable. Mainly because, as @DreamyViridi said, they had a trophy in Brawl... The only character trophy other than Wario himself to be exact, and they were an Assist Trophy as well.

(I'd like to think that Kat&Ana, Little Mac, Issac and Saki would have a better chance of getting in by being Assist Trophies in Brawl, but whither or not that makes a difference is yet to be determined.)

And speaking of Wario, I hope we get a stage or at least some music from the Wario Land series in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U or Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. I love WarioWare as much as the next guy, but Wario Land deserves some love too.

That came out after Super Smash Bros. 64 (and Melee). Captain Falcon's Falcon Punch originated in Smash Bros.

I doubt they'd show any newcomers this soon, I think new characters will be shown off when it's a bit closer to the release date. If you've noticed they've only been confirming previous smash Bros characters ever since the E3 reveal and there are a few more returning fighters that need to be confirmed.

-Captain Falcon
-Ness
-Falco
-Yoshi
-Ganandorf
-Ice Climbers
-Jigglypuff
-Mr Game & Watch

Those are the Smash veterans that have yet to be confirmed.
