So...anyone else bothered by the fact that Midgar only has two music tracks?
raises hand
And they're original tracks, at that. It seems really lazy.
Suzaku Castle had two fully remixed tracks and four original tracks.
They could have at least padded out Midgar with some other original tracks.
I don't mind it souch because I mostly play the 3DS version (and that one was guaranteed to have only 2 tracks) but yeah, it seems a bit lazy. I wanted to hear a smash remix of one winged angel.
@DarthNocturnal: That was FF5 though. Still would have been good though.
I was personally hoping for a few tracks from different FF games, but oh well.
Yeah, it was the perfect opportunity to put music in from different Final Fantasy games — just imagine Smashing with Final Fantasy 3/4's battle music in the background! Oh well.
God first.

Despite never playing any of the FF games, I'm surprised Midgar only has two songs myself. Why not some music from the Final Fantasy games that were actually on Nintendo systems? Ah well, at least we have Midgar and Cloud to begin with.
Once a LuigiMan, now a Dreamy representation of the Goddess of Nature.
Retired Palutena Gem Provider. Mario Maker Levels
I just wanna point out to people mentioning the specific wording of the Direct and saying this may not be the end, just the last newcomer, they really hammered it in hard that this is the final, complete, package with no remorse or looking back. They were listing numbers and being like "we're breaking records, here, cut us some slack!"
I have no hope for Wolf to return. If he does, cool. If not, I won't be surprised. Maybe he'll be Smash 5's Dr. Mario, but I'm not holding my breath, now.
Yeah I haven't even played a FF game and I know about One Winged Angel. That's how obvious it should have been to put that song in the Midgar stage. I thought it was a no brainer too....
I think the problem is with just only 2 music tracks is that if they want to add more, they need to license it. Same with Susaku castle, which only has 2 songs and its variants.
Though it makes me wonder nintendo approached square enix about cloud is smash, because perhaps if it was the other way around, there could be atleast some more songs.

Do you think that Pit and Palutena's dialogue in Bayonetta's trailer means that their voice actors recorded conversations for the DLC characters and that we will get them with the february update?
