@DarthNocturnal: Let's say for the sake of argument that there is no pre-ballot. There's only going to be characters selected from the ballot from here on out. Would you still be against him being a ballot character when you factor out the idea of him possibly hetting in some other way?

Just putting this out there, because Im seeing a lot of spoiled babies on THAT site, if we only get the MarioMaker stage, lets be happy about that. Two weeks ago, we thought there was nothing special about the 30th, and now we know we are getting a brand new stage. I see people saying that the update will be disappointing, or bare-bones, but its not. We are getting a new stage that was made to celebrate a game that itself is a celebration of Mario's 30th anniversary.

If we get something more, thats cool, but if not lets not call it disappointing just because we didn't get more.

Plus, the ballot ends in just a few days anyway.

Gotta say, in comparison to some of the other Smashified characters, this doesn't really look as impressive to me.

Now that I think of it, how would a Crystal wig even work? Wouldn't it need to be some sort of helmet or mask?

...So when does the DLC release? Midnight or sometime around noon or something?...

Maintenance starts in 12 min, after a hour and a half then the online will be working again! so I guess then.

@Undead_terror: It doesn't start until 10:30 pm PT, which is 2:30 pm tomorrow in Japan. There's still another 3 hours until it starts.

Yup, three hours to go.

Now the question is, will the new software update be live on Nintendo Network immediately after the maintenance is over, or will they wait until the DLC releases?
