Which one of these reasonings do you think is the reason for King K. Rool being a Mii Brawler costume?

• A.) K. Rool scored very highly in the ballot, but Sakurai does not want him as a playable character in the game. So he idecides to add * him as a Mii Brawler costume instead.
• B.) K Rool was in development, but it didn't work out, so he is instead a costume
• C.) The K. Rool costume is just to hold us over until the real K. Rool DLC comes out.
• D.) The K. Rool costume is just a cheap alternative for people who can't afford the upcoming real K. Rool DLC.
• E.) Sakurai is skeptical about K. Rool being a playable character, so the K. Rool costume is just a test to see how well it will selll. If it sells well enough, he will add him in the game as a fighter.
• F.) King K. Rool is actually playable, and this costume is just to troll us.
• G.) King K. Rool is actually not playable, and this costume is just to troll us.

All of the above.

We'd better get Isaac or Waluigi is all I'm saying, because those three (that I can think of) are the only characters I'd look forward to. Lucas was ok because I like him better than Ness and can't use Ness for my life, but I didn't care for Roy and Ryu at all. And my point in that is they are tending to put in characters that I don't care about, which is why I'm upset. I feel like maybe we can pull out an Isaac, but other than that Sakurai is going to put in characters I just don't care about.

King K. Rool would have a wonky moveset for Smash, but that's exactly why I want him in. To beat up people's hardcore Mario, Fox, Marth or whatever with a fat crocodile would be one of the most hilarious things ever. Oh well, at least I still have Olimar.

But until I get one of those three characters, forget Smash. Imma go (continue to) play Splatoon.

Well, the costume pretty much disconfirm that K. Rool isn't gonna be a future DLC character. Along with Chrom. Hopefully, more interesting characters has a better chance now.

@Megumi: Until they break the trend, costumes characters are deconfirmed.
The ones that they added are because of the high demand, and its easier to add them as a costume (they mentioned something like this when they added the Zero and megaman.exe costumes)

Thinking about it a little more, I really just want a DK villain as a playable character. But only King K. Rool makes sense.

@Gridatttack: Meta Knight breaks the trend. This isn't a full deconfirmation. After all, K Rool is known for playing dead. Until Sakurai says he's deconfirmed, he still has a chance.
