If you're referring to the red beam of light, it's a marker for the opening in the clouds that leads to the Eldin Volcano area of the world below, there's also a green one which leads to the Faron Woods, and a golden one leading to the Lanayru Desert.

So, anyone remember when everyone was talking about different character costumes would be cool for Smash 4? Like say, Tanooki suit for Mario, Dry Bones Bowser, you get the idea. In the Mario Turbo Mode Tuesday, they showed Dr. Mario as an ALT costume, which is pretty cool! A Dr. Mario costume makes all the difference to me.)

They sure do know how to keep things interesting. I really don't expect this to happen for Smash 4, but it would be really cool if they would. (Aaaand this post might get deleted) But, what do you guys think about alternate costumes in Smash 4?

This could mean either 2 things

Xerneas is a pokeball assist character.

This is part of a new Pokemon stage. But Wii U stages are supposed to be based on home console games. And as of now, there are currently no Pokemon games that involve the 6th gen on home consoles. So maybe this could be hinting at a new game for Wii U to be announced soon?

Hehe, yeah I suppose I am looking into it too much. But hey, it's still a better guess than people on Miiverse who assume Xerneas is playable.

This. Besides, there have always been legendaries in Pokeballs. I wonder what attack it'll use though.

I could see Xerneas being a stage hazard similar to Dialga and Palkia on Spear Pillar. Unfortunately it looks like it will just be a Pokéball assist, but I'm still cool with that.

A lot. Brawl's repetitiveness in Break the Targets, Classic, and All-Star was the main reason I didn't 100% the game.

Ike prolly won't come back due to the fact that he hasn't appeared since RD near brawl's release. And he's OP as heck.
