this game is the reason i bought the wii u. Walked in to buy my system got extremely lucky someone canceled their preorder on the bundle with the adapter. bit the bullet bought that. i also own the pro controller. i love the gamecube controller. it has been one of my favorite controllers ever made. amazon had single gamecube controller adapters for sale for 30. i find this shortage stupid and unfair to every one. the game is amazing though. i hope they bring in DLC. never a bad thought to add a few new characters or bring in some older ones (Roy). then maybe with them we will also get new amiibos for it!

Aw man, the other day I was playing Team Battles in For Fun mode and we went into sudden death in Guar Plains. One of each of our teams was killed and it was just me and Ganondorf not landing a single hit for like over a minute after the bombombs started dropping everywhere. I dodged two of them by a total fluke and then finally Ganondorf took one to the face.

You bet I saved THAT replay! I may record it with my phone to upload to Youtube or something and share it here. It's the 3DS version though.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will give the CCP a try and see how that goes. Might try the 3DS at some point too but I am not to big of a fan of using the circle pad.

Customs and heavy characters are your friends. owo Those challenges are really much easier than they sound. (It's clearlying All-Star on Hard with everyone that drove me nuckin' futz!

...clearlying? lol
Yeah I keep forgetting about customizations being allowed. xD Still feel like the Core is going to cause me issues, though. :c

The Core can cause problems but as time goes; I find each loss helped me learn its attacks and so I studied its movements. Counter is your friend and practice makes perfect. I should know, I beat 9.0 Wii U on my first go; without customs.

Tips for each stage:

Master Hand - Usually leads with a horizontal slap. Don't attack right away, or it's bound to get you. This stage is tough because you need to pay attention to two enemies, but it's over fast enough to be less than life-threatening.
Master Giant - Air dodges are your friend. Learn his tells. He won't likely kill you, but he can rack up damage FAST!
Master Beast - Approach with caution and patience. Don't get greedy or he WILL punish you for it. This is the first form with serious kill potential, but if you try to stay towards the center of the stage and shield/dodge whatever he throws at you (shield works better), you shouldn't lose a stock here.
Master Edge - This one's tough. He has damage AND kill potential and can take out your stock in a heartbeat. Shouldn't be too worried if you lose a stock here, but that'll make Master Fortress a LOT tougher. Try to stay towards the left side of the stage. If you see him winding up heavily, run to the right. Try not to get greedy, but this is an understandable place to lose a stock.
Master Shadow - Usually the easiest part of the match and the one you'll feel the least pressure on. Even if he does a lot of damage to you, you'll get a heart container afterwards. Just be aware of what your character can do and use your heavily superior skills (because Master Shadow is a really dumb player, most of the time) to beat him. Even if you can't secure a KO, enough damage will do the trick.
Master Fortress - Don't take the heart container right away! You can reach the first goal without even risking the acid, so save that heart contain for later, depending on your damage. Also, remember that you can GRAB Stalfos. I always forget this and they cause me so much grief. Try to take out the flowers before they can send a beam your way, and if you get over 100% and you're about to enter an area with acid, THEN you can use the heart container. Sparks aren't as devastating as they were in Smash Run, but still, just smack 'em once or twice before they do any serious damage. You can probably ignore the Sparks that spawn after attack the final core once. And one last thing, you can stall the heart container for quite a bit. At a point where there's a hole in the ground you have to fall through, if you go over the acid on the left side, you can return to the stage for some much needed recovery.

Might give it another try soon then, the main problem is that I keep forgetting about custom characters. Might just make a Bowser, Charizard, and Ike/King all based on defense. xD

Learn to spot/air dodge efficiently as a lot of the master forms deadliest moves can be dodged easily.

It's mainly Edge that gives me the most trouble, I guess Beast follows.

I can't remember, but is there one that heals you after reaching 100%? Thought I had it but can't find it anymore. lol

The biggest problem you're going to face isn't any single form. It's that Master Giant will rack up damage and if Master Beast doesn't take a stock, Master Edge probably will.

Hey guys quick question. I'm training an amiibo right now and it's up to level 44 so it won't be long before its maxed out. I'm trying to teach it techniques such as taunting after every K.O and throwing projectiles at a recovering opponent however I don't know if my amiibo will learn it before it maxes out. So my question is, do amiibo learn techniques beyond level 50? Can they still learn things like taunting and projectile throwing?

I got my amiibo to learn taunting withing 5 levels. Throwing projectiles while a person is recovering is specific, so it will probably only learn throwing projectiles strategically

Edge always racks up damage with me and a lot of times even takes a stock. I have no clue how to dodge that attack where it surrounds the entire platform and slashes you from all directions.

I'm pretty sure Amiibos continue to change its AI even after it hits 50.

Yeah, those Forms can be dastardly. The Edge Form has this attack... no in fact, several attacks that are impossible to dodge...good luck to me completing challenges that require you not to lose a life in a 9.0 Classic Mode.
Oh, and please help! How do I use Lucina to KO 8 Miis in Cruel Smash in a way that's EASY and RELIABLE? There are some tricks I found online, but they aren't reliable, at least for me.
