Well I've cancelled my amiibo pre orders.

In other matter: is possible to use in the same session the GCC adaptar and the WiiU Pro controls? Like some two game cube controllers and two wii u pro controllers at the same time?

I can't see them not supporting that. How else could they do 8-player Smash

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I don't think the Wii U can support 2 GameCube adapters at once.

It can, actually! It was confirmed recently.

I want the Peach Amiibo. It looks fine to me.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

The Wii U has 4 USB ports in total. One GC adapter requires 2 USB ports.

Anyhow, here's the possible configuration options in SSB U:

  • Wii U GamePad (Max 1)
  • Wii Remote or Wii Remote Plus* (Max 7)
  • Wii U Pro Controller (Max 7)
  • Nintendo GameCube controller** (Max 8)
  • Nintendo 3DS series system*** (Max 8)

Well if that is the only way to play 8-Player Smash then I never will, seeing as I have a hard drive and Disney infinity portal pluged in, I only have the 2 front USB slots open.

No, it's not. The Peach Amiibo is out of focus and in bad lighting!

Again, you can play 8-player Smash as a single human player if you want to. Just put the others as CPU or FP.

Then that isn't 8-player. That is 1-player with 7 bots.

If you have more human players, there's really no issue then, since the specs I mentioned cover just about any combination.

How are you going to have up to seven Wii Remotes/Pro Controllers when the system only recognizes four at a time?

There's a game I play on playstation that is 6 players and playstation only "recognizes" 4 at one time so...

And if you ask me it does work 6 players on the game, you just have to connect the controller to the system then it is good.

@SuperMalleo I'm sure it would work with wii games that support gamecube controllers lol

OK now my question: How do you record the Wii U screen? If anyone could answer this then that would be great... I am thinking of starting a youtube of super smash bros gameplay (maybe...)

Stop to hang up on STUPID LITTLE THINGS! Play Wii U! ;-)
ANASTACIA: THE NEW ALBUM "EVOLUTION" INCLUDING THE NEW SINGLE "CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE" OUT NOW! ;)

@TheGreatGamer You'll need a capture device to record gameplay. I couldn't recommend one to you though, since I'm no expert on that sort of thing.

I use an Elgato Capture Card on my YouTube Channel (DBPirate) but if your TV isn't showing your Wii U in HD quality, then it won't record in HD quality. It costs a lot though.

In SSB U gameplay videos, I notice that players sometimes can get smashed against the TV screen (covering the view). Has that "feature" been in any of the previous Smash games?
