My biggest problem with Melee is that the professional scene using a small amount of characters, where in Smash 4 all the characters are so balanced that I could see all of them being played in tournaments. I played Melee last night and it wasn't very entertaining. The air dodge is too limited, the movesets felt stale in comparison to 4 (which could be how long I have been playing Melee but it still matters).

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Not true.

That and the fact that for me...... it felt a tad too fast after watching a bunch of tourneys.

Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

Fox, Falco, Marth, Captain Falcon, Peach, Jigglypuff, Sheik, Ice Climbers, etc. At the very least, Smash 4 already has a similar problem online with people using the same few characters. I've seen so many people use the same few characters (mostly Little Mac, Lucina, and Robin), and it's getting pretty boring.

The 50 things will of course cover some things we sort-of know about already, such as the Kalos Pokemon League stage, which never got a proper reveal iirc. The different modes will be talked about, and who knows what else?

I lose brain cells reading these Melee hate comments. This is pathetic.

"MeleeIs2Fast4me" smh.

My Gamecube still works like a dream, and I play Melee everyday.

My main problem with Melee is its fanbase. They're kind of irritating. I have never seen another fighting game community NOT want their newest game at EVO.

I'll admit, a lot competitive Melee players are extremely irritating. They can't adapt to change for the life of them.

Playing Melee casually sucks. That's why it wasn't "entertaining".

Blame Dr. Mario. He replaced Wario because Wario Land 4 released too closely to Melee. There would've been a Wario Land stage too.

I'm not quite sure why Smash hasn't really had ANY Wario Land representation. The likelihood of getting a Wario Land Shake It stage is fairly low this time, not to mention Wario no longer has the shoulder tackle as part of his moveset.

It would be nice for the series he came from to actually have some sort of representation here.

@SparkOfSpirit - I agree on the lack of Wario Land representation wholeheartedly. At least there were a couple of references in Brawl but I feel there's none of that here in this game. I can accept it, of course, but it feels like a missed opportunity. Like having his Down-Special be the Earthsake Punch, it'd be the same mechanic as the Wario Waft but more fitting.

I know! I mean, the only thing that comes close to Wario Land are Wario's overalls alts., and those really represent him in the Mario games. Seriously, they could at least have made ONE of the Wario Land enemies appear in Smash Run. Hopefully there's at least a music track from the games in the Wii U version.

There is nothing here...except for the stuff I just typed...

Dr. Mario is not to blame.

Sakurai was going to add Wario as a clone of Mario, but he felt that he needed to be more unique, and since dev time was up, he didnt added him in the end

Wario as a Mario clone sounds funny. That means he would use fireballs and a cape. lol

This thread is a Smash community (I guess?) Also, there's Melee hate on SmashBoards, too.
