what amazing!! fantastic!! i hope that nintendo will make a new super mario game like the mario we can see in the trailer! the graphic is so amazing, and the shield is WOW! i like also the bowser junior evolution!
plus in the trailer you can see mario ombra from super mario sunshine! i hope a remake and a sequel for it!

I wouldn't say that counts.
As far as a WiiU Mario-game goes, I want something more akin to SM64 and Sunshine.
No more linear platformers for a while, please. I know they're popular, but we haven't had a real, "open-world", exploration-based Mario-game since Mario Sunshine.
If they made a Mario Galaxy 3, but with that particular style of gameplay, I'd be very very happy. There's a lot of things you could do with the space setting. And as they've showed, you could land on different planets and have pretty much any other setting you'd want within a level. The possibilities are basically endless!
Maybe it's just me, but I'd really like to see that.
I'm fairly confident they have something good planned for Marios 30th anniversary, just like the topic poster seems to think.

And I just have to say that anyone saying there's no point to this thread or that it shouldn't exist is completely missing the point. Just because you didn't understand what the topic poster was trying to say doesn't give you the right to be rude. The point of the thread, and correct me if I'm wrong, is to discuss the next Mario-game on WiiU. I thought that was obvious. And yet we have people more fixated on the topic posters english skills and/or knowledge on forum-posting rather than actually talking about what they were trying to bring up.

I'm really not expecting a sequel to Sunshine. We may get a remake, but not a sequel. And if we did get a remake, I don't think they'd count that as the next new Mario-game. I'm honestly expecting it to be something entirely new.

something very EPIC and AMAZING...i wanna have the WOW! effect again!
i'm very confident in WiiU! with the gamapad i can feel the same magic that i have had with nintendo 64 and nintendo gamecube!

I don't think Nintendo understands or cares about the idea of wanting a completely unique collectathon game for Wii U, otherwise we would've gotten it instead of 3D World. They probably either couldn't think of an idea for Wii U, didn't want a collecthathon game because of sales, or both. So I think if we're getting anything along those lines, it'd probably be either Galaxy 3 or a remake of Sunshine.

I think we'll have another major Mario game by 2016, and I'm sure it'll be a beefier game. They just need time, guys.

i'm afraid that they also want to see how the wii u and the games such as super smash bros u will go on the market. if they result successful then go on with this console and with the major project related...fingers crossed for nintendo
