Which of these games do you want to see next? I'd prefer Galaxy 3 myself because I absolutely had a blast with the first two Galaxy games, but which would you guys prefer to see next?
Well, I'd want an original collectathon game more, but between the two I'd rather have Sunshine 2. It hasn't been done as much and there's more that they could do with it. Plus Sunshine is more exploration oriented than Galaxy, Galaxy is kind of a middle ground between 64/Sunshine and 3D in terms of gameplay.
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Sunshine 2 would be amazing! Galaxy is definitely better but Sunshine is such a unique experience. Plus I like playing with water.
You know what, maybe they could do Sunshine + Galaxy. It'd be hard to do, but well worth it if it works.
I would have never guessed Weezing was so useful until I played a HeartGold Nuzlocke! My YouTube Channel! Video game related, of course! My Pushmo Levels

I think we're in due time for a deconstruction Mario game.
Mario's horrible dependence on shrooms has caused Bowser to rapidly decrease the value of the coin, and Princess Peach leaves Mario due both to his addictions and financial situation. Luigi on the other hand is on the lam due to lingering resentments of his more popular brother, and Yoshi has fallen into depression due to weight problems caused by a slowing metabolism. while Toad continues to be the character nobody cares about.
Yes I know shrooms aren't physically addictive but whatever I'm just making a bad joke here. My actual answer would be a game in the vein of Super Mario 64, because the nonlinearity makes me think it could be the best fit for HD graphics, not to mention it's the style of 3D Mario that most needs a graphical update (If you run Galaxy on Dolphin, just as example, it looks FANTASTIC. Sunshine looks decent. I don't know if there's anyway to upscale 64 to HD but it'd look like garbage regardless).
This is a signature.

Screw you.
Agreed. I want this please. If they want to shove Galaxy and Sunshine down our throats though, give us a 64 + Sunshine + Galaxy 1 + 2 HD collection. Even if it is all just up rezzed a bit, I would love that. Other than that, give us a whole new 3D Mario game. I'm thinking maybe combine aspects of 3D world with Super Mario 64. Maybe try to give multiplayer a shot in a 64-like game. But make the game still a great singleplayer experience. I'd like to see what they could do with that idea.
Check out my YouTube channel if you love gaming, and Nintendo (especially Metroid) I think you'll enjoy my videos. :)

Definitely no to Galaxy 3. The first 2 were great games, but I'd much rather have a new/original idea than a 3rd in that series. So, i'd prefer Sunshine 2 over Galaxy 3...however I'd actually prefer a sequel to 64 over either with Mario back in Peach's castle(with some new twists added). But, I still would prefer an entirely new idea over any of them.
I loved sunshine because Defino Island felt like a real, fleshed out place in the Mario-verse. That's what I love about Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door, Super Paper Mario, and Skyrim as well. So I'd prefer Sunshine 2 if it was set in a new tropical area, or better yet, the Paper Mario universe (because, let's be honest, that's the best part of the mario-verse).
I'd want Super Mario Galaxy 3.It seems a bit long overdue and it could really benefit from the Wii U gamepad's features(maybe even a level builder).
