What direction would you like Nintendo Miyamoto to take Mario's 3D adventures?
As for me, I'd like to see a direct sequel- or at least a Mario game that follows after Super Mario 64. I loved running around the castle and finding some secrets. If Miyamoto goes in that direction, I'd like him to expand on that exploring aspect because that's what made SM64 very special to me. Though, I am curious to see the apparent 64 X Galaxy Super Mario 3DS.
May be too much to ask- but please let this be a launch title for Café.
I would love a Super Mario Sunshine 2....With an updated F.L.U.D.D (New nozzles), new levels, new characters, updated storyline.... it would be awesome!
I want a classic Super Mario Bros.-type game, but reimagined in 3D. Mushrooms would still make you bigger and blocks would still yield coins, but the levels would take place in a fully-fleshed out 3D world.
Super Mario 3DS seems to be that game you described. If you look at the screenshots you'd see one that has a miniture Mario (without his hat) with some bricks and question blocks in the background. I think that game will blend the 2D Mario elements into his 3D adventure. Can't wait to see it at E3!
I think the 3DS Super Mario game is going to be a crossing and mash-up of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Galaxy. Basically you've got all three in one if you guys catch my drift.
Anyway, I'd like to see a direct sequel to Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door on Project Cafe as I just can't get enough of the Paper Mario games!
It would also be nice if there were some sort of bookish Legend of Zelda pop-up book kind of game on both the 3DS and Project Cafe although the 3DS would be more capable of perfectly creating the visual atmosphere that I'm envisioning in a Legend of Zelda pop-up story book kind of thing. If you guys remember how the images begin to come out of the book in the opening title screen of the Chowder cinematic opening for the show then you'll sort of understand what I'm meaning.

Nice thought man! Now that is a game that I'd definitely play. Can you imagine Mario, Shy Guy, Luigi and Boo? That makes me think of something like Luigi's Cafe Mansion lol!

That sun reminded me of a crazier version of the moon from Majora's Mask (apparently it is possible..) But I honestly hope Mario never gets too realistic no matter how amazing the technology is. He was meant to be a cartoon in a cartoon world-that's why Mario games are such an escape for people

That sun reminded me of a crazier version of the moon from Majora's Mask (apparently it is possible..) But I honestly hope Mario never gets too realistic no matter how amazing the technology is. He was meant to be a cartoon in a cartoon world-that's why Mario games are such an escape for people
Yeah. In the next mario game I don't want COMPLETE realism, but I want smoothness and awesome textures, and I want them to still keep it creative and cartoon-like.

I agree. It would be disastrous if they took Mario in a true to reality direction. I hope they keep Mario whimsical and cartoonly true to form!
