Also something else they mentioned that I found interesting is that the blue Toad isn't random. He is blue because the Toad in the original version of SMB2 was blue as well, which explains why the "definitive" Toad isn't used. Yet another hint that Wart might appear there in some shape or form.

I think the Mouser prediction is a pretty good guess. Nintendo hasn't borrowed from Super Mario Bros 2 too much, so I'm sure they'll borrow Mouser, Wart, and several of the other bosses from that game.

Well, I doubt Tryclyde will come back if that's the case. The World 4 boss looks too similar to him.

There is sensible logic behind your prediction so I think you may be on to something! I also think that Mouser has a probability of showing up in the game somehow
although it is not what i was hoping for i am still excited to play this. i think the game will still be fun and have great moments. it isnt too unique looking so it may not stand out but i am sure it will still be a quality game. mabye once wii u has more sales we can get a more original 3d mario that pushes the boundaries
It would be really cool if Shy Guys were enemies in this game. They've never been enemies in the traditional Mario platforming games other than SMB2 and Yoshi's Island.
I wonder if this game will have underwater levels?
Like would that work given the 4-player setup with camera angles and everything? I would imagine but you never know
