Are all the special world levels completely unique and original, or are they 'remixes' of the main worlds?
Also, how do the ghost Miis work when you race them? Do they appear randomly? Do you turn them on or off before a level for example? And can you race the ghosts of people from your friends list, or is it always a bunch of randoms?
@JohnnyKong: The first special world has all new levels, and the second and third ones have tough remixes of normal ones. I haven't gotten to the final special world, but that is likely all new.
I haven't even seen any ghost miis in levels, even as much as I've played this game. I want to race against some because I've been speed-running a lot lately.
I beat the final special (crown) world last night, it consists of a toad level that has lava, a purple box sprint which is kinda hard you have to collect 30 green stars and a stamp, and then their is Champions Road, now that took me multiple tries to beat and is up their in difficulty with the perfect run from Galaxy 2 and even some notoriously hard levels from World, Bros. 3 and Lost Levels but overall its not to bad once you get the strategy down. I used Luigi with a raccoon suit for the first half of the level and used the cat suit for the wall your suppose to use piranha plants to jump off and reach the top.
Now for my own little piece since I beat the game so! Overall this game is amazing, I'd put it right up there or even above (yes i got/am getting this much enjoyment) the Galaxy games, Mario 64 however may have a bit too much nostalgia fog in my eyes but trust me 3D World is one of the bessssst Mario games out their right now!

You sure you turned on the setting for it? I'm getting mii ghosts in my levels, but only when I replay them, they never show up until you beat the level at least once, from what I've seen.
I'm in the second(?) special world right now. The one that starts giving you the hard remixed levels.

Does anyone end up with this unstoppable urge to just...goof off when playing this in multiplayer? xD
Like, for no reason I just sit in the middle of the screen or something with the cat suit and start doing the "crouch dance" thing. Just, continuously pressing ZR (?) the whole time. xD

Keep it PG-13-ish.
I just love 3D World. I like 3D Land, but 3D World blows it out of the water. I've been doing world 1-8 reruns with characters. I finished doing so with Rosalina and now I'm working on Luigi.

I haven't seen any adverts for this yet on UK channels.
We're supposed to be getting an extensive TV campaign over here I think.
I saw 2 different kind of ads from 3D World a few times over here in Germany.
It wasn't any live action. I think they showed some parts of the trailers and an announcer was talking about the game. ^^
The main game isn't hard at all...but the challenge comes from completing the game. Getting all green stars, the stamps and all that.
Some of the last levels do get a little hard though, I just got to the last world.
Has anyone played the single player campaign mainly with the pro controller? I am curious as to what percentage of the game can be played with the pro controller in single player. I know some of the stages require the gamepad.
The game is only being released on Friday in my region, so please, no spoilers.
@GTWarrior77 I use nothing but the Pro Controller for this and it works like a charm! You just can't use it with the Captain Toad missions and I think those Bowser statue missions.

Well I didn't play through the game with the pro controller, but there are only three levels in the game that require the gamepad, so you wont be switching back and forth very often at all. And the Captain Toad levels require it which is every other world.
Overall I'd say this could be the best 3D Mario yet. I still want to let it sink in, but right now it is about tied, maybe a little under Sunshine and 64 actually. It has so much creativity, it never got boring, Multiplayer is the funnest thing in a video game in a long time, and I love the controls, they are really tight/ great for speed running (which is really fun too btw). It's a fantastic game, that, for me, fixed everything that Galaxy 1 & 2 did wrong. Which isn't that much. It gave a little bit of a challenge at the end, the last level took me and my bro ( who are pros ) two and a half hours, but that's only because we used Luigi and Mario, and cared about getting a good time Anyway everyone should get this game, beating the last levels with Toad today. (you get a stamp for beating every level with each character)
