Topic: super mario 3d land ds vs wii u

Quick questions, are the wii u and ds versions of this just the same exact game?

The 3DS game is calles 3D Land, the WiiU game is called 3D World. Boith are entirely different games with compareable mechanics.

Super Mario 3D Land on the Nintendo DS is very pixelated. Super Mario 3D World on the Nintendo Wii U isn't.

Even IF it would matter, it isnt the case. Also, its on the 3DS. The 3D Mario game on the DS is 64DS and that one could very well be considered pixelated, but thats to be expected.
3D Land looks amazing and plays like a charme

Although, admittedly when it was first revealed it looked like 3D Land HD. Glad that wasn't the case!

No one has mentioned that the Wii U game lets you play as 5 different characters, and that you can play multiplayer with up to 3 other people? As opposed to two in 3D Land and no multiplayer?

Well, I just did.

3D World outdoes 3D Land in practically every way, Level design is grander, Time Trials are more easier to do, there are more levels, 5 characters, multiplayer. Score is also in 3D World, there is no scoring system in 3D Land, and when playing multiplayer, score really matters.
3D Land is only superior in 1 way: 3D. Depth perception is important in the 3D Mario games, and sometimes it can trick you in 3D World. It's a big one, yet 3D World is greater in everything else.
