Hey NL! I am really bored this weekend so I was thinking of going to pickup a copy of Super Luigi U, but I have a concern. I did own the original NSMBU but I sold it to get ACNL. I was wondering if I can stil play the physical copy of of Super Luigi U even though I don't have NSMBU?

Yup, you can play the physical copy of New Super Luigi U without owning New Super Mario Bros U. The only thing you need NSMBU for is if you want to download NSLU on it.

Yeah you can play the physical copy without NSMBU. Only if you want the digital version do you need NSMBU.
