Hello Guys

Who wishes that a Star Fox Adventures 2 or a remake is made, too? I'd really like that a continuation comes, most of the Retro Studios.
Because they have many old and good employee of Rare and have made new Donkey Kong Country and Metroid
games.Would be a sequel or a remake of Star Fox Adventures possible?

I want a remake, a sequel or a rerelease of the GCN game. They wouldn't even need Rare, I'm sure at this point Nintendo could get someone else to make a decent 2nd game. I really wish Nintendo had continued with doing the games like Adventures with the Wii and WiiU, but they didn't, and it seems like it's a dead idea.

Nope, and I'm glad that series died off after one game.

Do they?

@Octane: Why are you glad? Star Fox Adventures is a great Rare Game! Well it had a few Undeveloped levels, but nevertheless it was a beautiful and good game. And it has built the beautiful krystal into the starfox universe what nintendo somehow never bothered/ took care...

First of all: Octane can have a different opinion. That doesn't mean that the game isn't great.

Nintendo is the reason that Rare's Dinosaur Planet with Krystal became Star Fox Adventures. I didn't care about the swap of main protagonists. However, putting Arwing levels and Andross in a "Zelda like adventure" game with a unique dinosaur setting was simply a bad move.

No, they don't.

@Topic: I love Star Fox Adventures but I don't need a new title. Just give me a new Zelda

It wasn't a Star Fox game. Any time that is spend on an Adventures sequel is less time spend on an actual Star Fox game.

I played it and I disliked it. It was pretty obvious from playing the game that it wasn't supposed to be a Star Fox game. Not a big fan of its level design either. It had the same problem Sonic Boom has, and I don't mean the glitchy mess, but gameplay and level design wise. Uninspired? Not sure how to call that, like a rushed project? Wasn't a fan of the new characters either, so I don't really mind that they never showed up again.

I have nothing against his opinion, only he not said has why

Yes,they do.With Metroid Prime 1-3,Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. And many Rare employee move to the Retro Studios.

@Octane: But the character design was great, especially that from Fox,Krystal and General Scales. And yes I also hated something in the game, the end. as e.g. the nonexistent final boss fight against General Scales. But all this can be change in a
sequel or a remake. So I would demonize it not equal. And you can't compare Sonic Boom with this wonderful game, because Sonic Boom is total trash.

Jox

Octane

@Jox: Well, like I said, I didn't like the new characters, especially Krystal was pretty annoying.

I wasn't comparing the glitches and bugs, but they both have a similar generic, bland, uninspired level design. They entire gameplay feels cheap. There are more games like that, but Sonic Boom came to mind as a recent example; Knack is another example. Not sure how to exactly put it, but these games have something in common.

I would like a Starfox Adventures 2. The combat system needs to be improved though as it got repetitive. Also there was far too much back tracking between areas and having to re-tread the same ground going backwards and forwards. There was also too much plain walking from A to B without enough action in between.

When it was realeased I was really impressed with Starfox Adventures and loved it both the first and second time I played through. Having played it recently I didn't like it as much but still think it's a great game, just not as fun as I had remembered because games have improved over the years.

I'm pretty sure nobody at Rare has ever worked at Retro Studios.

What's more is Retro had a massive talent drain a few years ago. Very few senior staff that worked on the Metroid Prime games remain there. It's actually a very similar fate to how Rare went after many of the staff left to form Free Radical.

@Octane: Are you a Star Fox hater? It seems to me so.But I do not really care, I give nothing on people who make a great game bad.And as I said you can't compare it with Sonic Boom

Jox

Octane

@Jox: Yes, I'm an evil Star Fox hater that goes on forums to convince people Adventures is a bad game. Don't tell anyone.

Jox

@wazlon: I totally understand you! I also find the game is great, but it has too many errors and unfinished elements and levels. What bothered me most was the nonexistent final fight against General Scales. But one must also understand, Rare was under time pressure and had to change much or leave unfinished. Therefore could Nintendo and Retro Studios make a new error-free and ready Star Fox Adventures-Game!

@Jox: I didn't know about the time pressures and it was no way near as disappointing as how short Luigi's Mansion was (though I really liked that too). Yeah the final fight against General Scales was a disappointment.
Yeah, I'd really like a new Star Fox Adventures. It would be cool if it was more open world and you could jump into your arwing and fly around the world map at will. First you'd start off on foot, then get the landmaster later and finally an arwing towards the end. I'd rather the on foot combat to be more Zelda style and not be shooty like Starfox Assault.

I'd like to see the original Dinosaur Planet more than anything, but I'd still be happy seeing another Adventures or a remake of the first game that improved on the original's shortcomings(make the story less rushed, better integration of the Starfox universe, Krystal having a bigger role). Even after Miyamoto turned it into Starfox the game still had a lot of bigger plans than what we saw in the final game

Sorry, bro. Starfox Adventures 2 would be too advanced, even for PS4.
