Topic: Square-enix lying about kingdom hearts 3.

I kinda created an account just for this topic. Well, that and... Nintendo of course!

All I keep hearing is "oh, well, the reason they don't port it is because it's easier to port it to the Xbox" It's not just the previous comment here, It's the main reason. But, to be blunt here, who cares!? I mean, c'mon! It's Kingdom hearts 3! people have been waiting a generation for this game, it will sell! People that loved Kingdom Hearts have bought Nintendo products to play them on. I'm also sure there's people out there that would love to port this for the thousands of Kingdom of hearts nintendo fans. I had to buy a PS2 just to get through the previous games and while playing through them I curse Square Enix for having such a harsh past with Nintendo because this would have made them get along really well. It's todays generation of super mario RPG and I love it. It's lighthearted, fun, magical and has a easy system to get suited into. I always saw PS as gritty and microsoft as hardcore, though both fit the same bill, the reason I bought Nintendo products were for games like Kingdom Hearts >l.

You do have a point with the rest of your comment, but honestly, ever since the N64, Nintendo never gets the big-name games on their consoles. To put it bluntly, outside of that one-off game that was really good, you generally don't buy a Nintendo console if you want games like Kingdom Hearts.

I just think its funny and sad how Square Enix didn't even give the 360 that Kingdom Hearts HD Remix that was an exclusive to PS3. I'm pretty sure most 360 only owners don't know that much about the crazy and complicated storyline of Kingdom Hearts. By giving the 360 the HD Remix, it woulda generated some kind of fanbase for Kingdom Hearts and explained some pivotal stuff they have been missing.
Heck, the Wii U deserved that Kingdom Hearts HD Remix, too.
One last thing... I'm nearly positive that IF the Wii U was getting KH3 then some kind of Kingdom Hearts character like Sora, Roxas or Riku would be in Super Smash Bros. 4. But since Kingdom Hearts 3 isn't coming... Nintendo/Sakurai is like, "Whatever. Cya later. But you sure do like how well your KH games sell on our handhelds, huh?!" I really wanna play KH3 and even FF XV so now I gotta get a PS4.

@CanisWolfred At least we usually get one game in the Tales of series on Nintendo Consoles with the N64 being the only exception since the series has been around.

@Atatabear Sony has a lot more than gritty stuff though, I mean one of Sony's big first-party games LittleBigPlanet, which is very light-hearted, they are very varied in their games and are much more than gritty. People likely to want Kingdom Hearts are more likely to get a PS4 too, as it will be getting RPGs like Final Fantasy and Wii U won't.

Thanks for agreeing! And This is true, thus my reason for getting a PS2 in the first place to play JRPG's. I just always felt when it came to colorful friendly characters, and choosing one console to go with I always chose the Nintendo. Now the PS4 will be hard to resist even though PS3 was easy to not get since it didnt have anything I really wanted except Ni No Kuni and KH 1.5

They do :< and my main reason to get a PS3 at first was little big planet and flower. Then there was Journey and Ni No Kuni, not to mention KH 1.5 I missed out once I got rid of my PS3 within the year. I still thought that the attention to detail made little big planet a bit gritty for it's game, but the story telling and sandbox made it worthwhile. Now the PS4 is more appetizing than the PS3 itself. I just wished that with the colorful cartoonish tone would present itself on the console that always focuses on games like that , in a fantasy aspect. I don't care if Final Fantasy doesn't considering I know their intentions on a High definition game of realism, but KH had set just the right tone to be multiplatform if they were going to be shoving it on the xbox as well.

Don't forget you missed out on Sly Cooper. You and far too many other people...

I didn't really like the Sly Cooper games, honestly. The newset one was especially horrific, IMO. I guess that's what PS kids like, though.

Ya. I don't see anything they could change to make it better for what it is. I just don't like it. I'd rather just leave it at that. PS All-Stars is the only PS game that almost made me buy a new PS3 game.

Monolith's X for Wii U walks in and sees Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV... The game says just one thing: "Yeah, yeah. Don't forget that I exist and I might be better than KH3 and FF XV." LOL XD

Xenoblade was already better, then SE games anyway. Oops! Forgot to add IMO, before retaliation.

I think X is better than Final Fantasy 15 based off of what we've seen this far. Xenoblade is already better than Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, IMO.

Final Fantasy XV doesn't look bad. It just looks very action heavy. I think I got a good idea of how the story will go. Noctis is in a family of royalty and power. His father and him have a unique relationship. His father gets backstabbed by that creepy old guy with the gray hair (look at the FF XV trailers on Youtube to see who I'm referring to). Suddenly, Noctis feels obligated to protect whats his. He has his trustworthy friends to get his back as he fights the people who are backstabbing him. And then.. there's that woman that I think is supposed to be Noctis' love interest in the game.
Powers and Abilites: It looks like Noctis can wield any kind of blade in his mini arsenal. His blades can materalize around him as he walks so it can become a barrier against enemy attacks. Noctis can cast spells and even do teleporation actions.

Kingdom Hearts 3: All I know is that the Xenahort Saga is finally ending and that the Kingdom Hearts fanbase in Nintendo deseve a chance to see how the Xenahort Arc will end because we have multiple entries of Kingdom Hearts games on Nintendo platforms (handheld).

Monolith's X: A Open world JRPG with cool robots and beautiful scenery. Apparently there is 4 player multiplayer (Gamexplain believes that). Games like Monolith's X, Bayonetta 2, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem will be Wii U's owners way of saying: "LOOK AT WHAT WE GOT!" LOL XD

Um, Tales of Symphonia, Monster Hunter Tri and 4, etc. etc.

I chose not to have PS2 in 6th. Just like I'm choosing not to support PS3(anymore) or 4. The only reason why PS3 got into my house in the first place is literally because of bluray. The gaming part was just a bonus. I actually gave the PS3 to my bro so he could watch Netflix, so I don't even have it anymore.

Also, Tales of Symphonia and ToS: Dawn of a New World will be on PS3. It won't support Move if anyone cares... There's tons of games people have missed out on. It's usually just a matter of which system you prefer that determines these things. I know I didn't miss out on anything PS3 or Xbox 360 had to offer, and that includes the back catalogue.

This is kind of a pointless post...

Not to put down Sly Cooper, cause I bet he's a cool guy, but, he doesn't exactly fit the colorful individuality. His gameplay is kinda right next to crash, spyro and jak and daxter... so he's pretty irrelevant in my book.

look we all know why none of these games are coming to the WiiU and it saddens me to say it but it has nothing to do with incompatibility, the WiiU just isn't selling (which is a shame because i love it) and even games that are released on the WiiU are getting shafted just look at Assassin's Creed 4 none of the DLC is getting released on the WiiU at all, Mass Effect 3 never got any DLC and games that were exclusive like Rayman Legends or Deus Ex Human Revolution Directors Cut went multiplatform

honestly Nintendo need to step up their game this time because they did release a console at the wrong time that was vastly inferior tech wise to the upcoming systems and they haven't pushed it in advertising either, they ain't going to get a free ride this time not like with the Wii and publishers are not going to relase a game on a system where they won't make their money back from it

honestly i really wish Nintendo would just say that the WiiU is a HD Wii and not their true next gen system and start working on a new one, i know it would seem like a wast but with the PS4 and XB1 round the corner the WiiU will really struggle and i don't think it's first party games will carry it this time

but i will give Nintendo this, they are never afraid to try something new even if it does fail
