Now that EA looks long gone ,I'm wondering what sports games we are going to see in the near future (if any) I'd personally like to see virtua tennis ,PGA leaderboard,NHL 2k , pro evo ,even mario golf or tennis would do ,what would everyone else like to see or do you know if there's anything out in the foreseeable future ?
Nintendo has always provided us with interesting sports games. Albeit, most of them have Mario taking lead role.
I think at this point, Nintendo should consider making a new development studio that focuses entirely on sports. That would be interesting.
Well, to me it doesn't even matter as my favorite sports (hockey and football) are only covered by EA, which isn't making games for Wii U. I don't count arcade sports games as those seem really shallow and fake to me..
Madden 13, FIFA 13, ESPN Sports Connection and NBA 2K13 is out now. I just ordered NBA for like 12 gbp, worth it despite the Bieber
Upcoming: Ashes Cricket 2013 and Mario & Sonic at the Sochi Winter Games.
I bet there will be a PES or ISS from Konami (hopefully) and i have always prefered the NHL 2K-series to EA Sports so hopefully there will be NHL 2K14 for Wii U.. but i dont know how NBA 2K13 has sold on the Wii U.

Iirc Take Two who own the 2K line also said that they wont be bringing games to the Wii U as well.
