Topic: Spin Off Titles?

So what do people think or what to see from Miyamoto's comments about more Hyrule Warriors like title are coming?

SMT X FE & Pokken Fighters are probably two of them but personally I'd like to see Lego Nintendo.

Also what about Fatal Frame vs Resident Evil or even Lugi's Mansion vs Resident Evil?

Collaboration with Arcsys to make a Fire Emblem 2D Fighter, featuring a few guest characters from BlazBlue.

Well Fatal Frame and Resident Evil are both 3rd party (though a more likely combo than with luigi's mansion [ though I would love to play it])

Metroid Mass Effect 3 DLC with zero suit Samus being playable in multiplayer as an Engineer and an Infiltrator. Power suit Samus as a Soldier and Sentinel. With a space pirate for the biotic classes. Metroid appear as a common enemy on platinum as well as with the space pirates as an enemy force working for the reapers.

So you mean the unprecedented partnership is still alive?

I can only see spin offs made by Japanese companies. Hopefully it is time for a Mario and Sonic crossover platformer, since there will be a Sonic Amiibo with Smash.

What I'd want isn't really a spinoff. It's not gonna happen, but...new F-Zero developed by Sega. It doesn't even have to be new! They could just remake GX!

I would love to see it and it could work if EA is okay with working with Nintendo, having Nintendo foot most of the development costs.

Anything developed by Monolith Soft.

Metroid Hunter by Capcom. Basically a sci-fi version of Monster Hunter set in the Metroidverse. Online co-operative able, of course, but also arena-based competitive modes.

Falcon Zero by Platinum. Action game staring Captain Falcon. Open world. Accept missions and bounties, earn money to customize YO PAD, etc. Also, mini-games, but the mini-games are exhibition races of classic F-Zero tracks.

And for great justice, Project Zero: Dead or DEADER by Koei Tecmo. Instead of the camera, you totally beat ghosts to super death with cool combos because that would be awesome. Also, Ryu and Ayane appear somewhere, for some reason.

Hasn't Nintendo already done this? Creating spin off games that aren't in the real cannon like Mario, Zelda, Kirby and Donkey Kong and having different characters take place like Wario?
I don't get it. And how can they make a Spin off of Metroid if that series doesn't have much of characters to begin with unless they give it a different timeline? Or what about Fire Emblem? How is that gonna be any different?

A Spin off of the Metroid, F-Zero, and Star Fox franchises where the 3 universes meet.

actually some pretty cool ideas. especially the first one could really work! playing as samus or other bounty hounters upgrading your weapons and suits. awesome idea! this could bring more people to the metroid franchise!

Kid Icarus RPG. (Action or Turn based or both).

More combat focused Zelda. (That still is still a Zelda game not a reskin of something else).

Mario Bowling

I've said this before, but I want to see DK go in a beat em up direction, kind of like God of War or the Werehog. DK's universe fits the platformer/beat em up style perfectly. I'm thinking something like this:

Take that gameplay style, add in the usual DK elements like ropes, vines, barrels, etc., maybe some extra characters (Dixie could probably fight with her hair, Cranky could fight with his cane, not sure about Diddy) and then it's pretty much perfect.
