Anyone want to take a guess what will be doomed for 2014? Cliched answer would be Ps4 but I'll go with Steambox for maximum lack of credibility.
I am going with OUYA.
I think Ouya could be a success. It's being sold in big retailers, it's cheaper than any other console, you can mod it without voiding your warranty, etc. etc. I think it has potential to be the next Wii.

Well I was joking and honestly I totally agree with you. I think OUYA will be success if anything because as you said the modding aspect. I am sure alot of homebrewers are looking at OUYA very closely.

I think Ouya will do ok, but I have my doubts it will be the next big thing or anything close to it. But it might give some major exposure of cool indie games to the less game-y audience its going for, which is cool.
that Ps3 sure does suck right guys? (gigantic sarcasm tags)
LOL.
I really can't think of anything more clever to say to that.
While I'm sure the PS4 will be a great machine, I just want to say the I recently saw the Killzone: Shadow Fall demonstation on Jimmy Fallon for the 1st time, and I thought the game looked absolutely horrible. If someone told me it was a PS3 game, I would have believed them.
Oh, and on topic: of course Sony are trying to court developers and consumers from Nintendo. They're the competition, and are not above implying that the PS4 will do things that Nintendon't, even if it's a flat-out lie.
