I would say alot of the multiplats aren't all going to be worth having anyway. Some are, but not all. Even COD made it to Wii, because they cared enough to try. Everyone knows Wii had a big install base, so WTF. There will probably be a better iteration of the Battlefield series from any of the companies called Wartime: Serious Bullet, and we will forget all about Battlefield 4.
Same thing with Saints Row vs. GTA. Which one do you think will fair better?

More quality games = More people interested
More people interested = more games for us
It doesn't matter if you're interested or not, other people are. Including people who haven't purchased the system. GTA 5 and Saint Row 4 could've tipped the scale in the Wii U's favor for some people, and that would get the Wii U more sales. So long as the game is a quality game, it's bound to have enough fans to make some sort of difference. The Wii U needs sales so we can get more games. The more games there are, the more the chances are that some of them will interest you.

The graphics are only SLIGHTLY better IMO, and that isn't gonna cut it for the average consumer.

Says who? I don't see much of an improvement. And I know other people who agree with me. I'm not saying the PS4 isn't much more powerful, but I honestly feel that, once we hit HD, any improvements to graphics have been small and gradual. The PS4's power obviously can and will be used for much more than graphical output. Still, I wouldn't say he is the only one who thinks it was just a slight improvement, not all of us pay so much attention to graphics that we notice these differences. If I look closely, yes, I see improvements, but I don't notice when focusing on the game itself, only if I look for them.

I don't get this argument about not being able to improve graphics beyond HD. That's just a resolution. We had 480 (for US) and 520 (for Europe) all the way from the NES to the Wii, but graphics sure did improvement a lot regardless of being stuck at the same resolution.
That's a game that's not even properly next gen. It's been made with the knowledge that 360/PS3 will be where it gets most of it's sales, so it has to run well on those consoles. Look at the screenshot.
Now... here is a screen of Saints Row. A game that came out a year after the 360 launched. They didn't have to cater to lower spec machines, they could go full out on machines where they'd probably had dev kits for 3 or 4 years. The result..
Pretty big difference to me. That's not even a fair comparison as Saints Row was so much further advanced for it's gen than Watch Dogs is for it's own.
Watch Dogs is the equivalent to something like the original Just Cause or Gun. They came out on the old Xbox, but we also had enhanced versions on 360 at the same time. Let's take a look at how Gun looked when it came out for 360 at launch, just like Watch Dogs will be for the next gen...
Can anyone honestly say that we've hit the glass ceiling for graphics and can't go any further? Do you EVER look at a screen shot and wonder is that a game or real life? Because graphics won't stop improving until we're there, and we're nowhere near.
I'm not saying graphics should be the be all and end all of game. I don't think that at all. I loved the best games on the Wii, and I will love the best games on Wii U, regardless of it's power, but I just get annoyed when reading that 'now everything is HD, graphics can't improve'.

The Saints Row game picture you showed looks worse than the GUN game IMO, and like you said, GUN was on last gen consoles having an enhanced port for Xbox 360. Just shows that some people couldn't even make a next gen game look as good as a last gen one. I seriously thought that picture of Saints Row was GTA Vice City upconverted to HD.
As for Watch_Dogs, it looks really good, but we haven't even seen the Wii U version, have we? We've only seen the Xbox 360 and PS3 version. The Wii U and PS4 version will probably have better visuals than even that pic.

I just realized the same composer who put out the greatest anime score ever in Gundam Unicorn is working on X. I should've realized it from the song itself. Now I'm seriously pumped. I was afraid when I found out Yoko Shimomura and Yasunori Mitsuda weren't returning from Xenoblade Chronicles, but I think this is by far a worthy trade-off.
i'm going to buy games that look interesting to me, and then i'm going to play them. wrangling on the internet over 'what-if's and 'maybe's doesn't really interest me. :3
