Topic: Sonic Lost World - replay value

So after playing on and off for ages I beat this the other day. The difficulty is really uneven in it (the last two worlds are very hard compare to the rest, it just suddenly takes a massive jump in difficulty), but I think this got really harshly reviewed, it is a great game and evokes the spirit of the Megadrive/Genesis games.

There seems to be a lot of replay value, so I'm asking has anyone 100%ed it and if so what can be done beyond the main game? From what I can see there is:

The Yoshi level
The Zelda level
The hidden world
The red coins (I'm assuming these unlock hidden levels from the map)

Is there anything else? What about Chaos emeralds and Super Sonic are they in there as I haven't seen a hint of them so far.

Unfortunately the Red Coins doesn't give new stages to play.... but they still hide a cool little "easter egg". Collect all the red coin in a world will unlock a chaos Emerald, after you got all seven you can transform in Super Sonic using the old Mega Drive formula (kinda), get 50 rings and then you can transform, no matter the level. As far as I know getting Super Sonic is really closer to an "easter egg" than anything since it add nothing new to play in the game, no new bosses or levels, it's just a little extra you can have fun to play with.
At least I hope you can have fun with it, I unlocked it, but never tried it on Wii U, but on 3DS I unlocked the emeralds before finishing the game and Super Sonic was a mess, he was so fast that made the game harder despite the invincibility XD

So... that's what left post game, the DLC, hidden world and find all the red coins, Personally I didn't find a great replay value and the game felt a bit short and unepic with those bosses, but it's definitly also a game with some fun in it and worthy to replay some levels time to time ^_^

@BakaKnight - there was the time attack mode for each stage, wasn't there? I don't remember if it had any kind of online leaderboards, though.

Indeed there is, I completly forgot until I didn't play again some levels... just few seconds ago. I admit it, Sonic lost World is a good game under many aspects, or at least I like it and definitly it has some replay value else I wouldn't explain why talking about it just for a minute made me feel the urge to take it back for run a couple of levels XD

Thanks everyone. After sniffing around a bit on youtube I see there is also a Nights into Dreams level that was a special offer, wish they'd release that generally now (even as paid DLC), looks really neat,

I got the Deadly Six edition too and I barely remember the Nights level, so that speaks volumes about its impact on me.

The game is not bad, but it can be annoying and frustrating, so I never tried to 100% it.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
