I would like to join you guys but I was playing this game for the first time the other day and somehow ended up with a broken ZL button on my GamePad. Now I'm unable to drift so I'm even worse at the game! If I send it to Nintendo then I'll have no Wii U for like a month...

Do you have a Classic Controller? That'll work just fine (I used mine for a bit until I realized my classic controller was slightly messed up, making me do tricks I didn't want to do so I reverted back to the GamePad).

Ah yes, forgot about the other control methods. They don't make it too obvious in the game that you can use them! I tried out the Pro controller for a bit and it works surprisingly well. Plus, now I actually have a use for it!

You sure can. I downloaded it from the eShop so I have no idea what the box says. I'm sure the eShop mentions the use of the Pro controller however.

What button is accelerate on the normal Classic Controller, not the Pro Controller or the CC Pro.

I thought the CC Pro was basically the same as the Classic Controller? Does it not have the trigger buttons? Considering that the shoulder buttons aren't used, I'd assume that

The Classic controller has the same buttons as the CCPro however the ZL and ZR buttons are not added as an extra layer behind the L and R buttons. They are just tiny buttons next to the L and R buttons which makes them very hard to use. So I think that answers the question of the accelerate button as it's the ZR button. I know that there is a setting in the options menu where you can change the layout of the buttons slightly but you'll always have to use ZL/ZR for something (which was a problem for me with the broken ZL button on my GamePad)

As I mentioned earlier, I won't be here for the race this Saturday. Someone else will need to host the race. Are there any volunteers?
