@MrWalkieTalkie - I've heard that the team is working on repairing those broken challenges. So, is that the only major bug you've encountered so far?

@MrWalkieTalkie - Thanks for your input. You've been a real help. Now I really want this game. :)

Only day 1 purchase for me so far. The first Sonic racing on Wii/PC is the first cart type racing game ever that I have actually enjoyed more than Mario Kart.
Mainly because of the challenged etc.

Same with my copy, I don't think this game is available for Club Nintendo points. Not every game is.

Yeah, the original didn't have a Club Nintendo code either. Most third party games don't. However, Club Nintendo seems to include several third party 3DS games.

hey guys! First post here (lol) :)

In all honesty, I love what I am seeing, I first thought it wouldn't be anything mind blowing, but as videos came by, I just found it to be really packed with excitement, Sega and Sumo have proven with this game that they are well able to please their fans, this whole game is a delight for those older Sega fans for the tremendous franchises they brought back within this game, some really obscure characters have been picked up, and given a chance to shine.
The idea of having transformation vehicles, really sounds exciting, and well makes the game so much more alive, then if you were simply playing with the same Kart, I believe it makes the whole thing unique, Basically, the way I see it, its a game who utilizes the (winning) Mario Kart formula, but with its own Sega appeal to it, and it really does shine.
If you are anywhere related to a Sega fan, or just want to try it out a game with racing, I believe this is a game for you, as it seems to pack a tremendous replay value with the whole multiplayer online, not only that the game has its own charm with the new Wii U, definitely something I'd look into!

Oh and also:

There's something more that you guys (Might) be intrested on - Many fans were unpleased when they were announced some of their characters hadn’t made it to the game, however, S0l from Sumo has officially got a challenge to the community, he has asked the fans to hand him out a 3 character list with 1000 votes each, minimum, this is the result:

http://forums.sega.com/showthread.php?427121-S0L-s-Challenge-...

You can now vote for that one character you loved but that didn't made the cut, and make it acknowledged by Sega!

This is what I love about it, Sega and Sumo were able to appeal to their fanbase, and make the game really packed with fan service!

The Gamespot review goes into the specific bugs of the Wii U build in some detail. Still re-affirmed on my pre-order from reading all the revws

Everyone should already have it because Shinobi III is one of the best games ever made and Joe Musashi is in this.

While Double Dash is still my favorite kart racer, this one more than stacks up to most of the Mario Kart games.

Frame-rate is horrible in 5-player mode, but the game is really fun otherwise. Really hope Miku makes it as DLC, I'll buy her day one.

The problem with video games is that guys who don't own them will come online and write about them in all confidence, and even make recommendations to others. You see it all the time. Even in this thread, a little above.

They watch some videos online, fill out the missing details from their imagination, maybe regurgitate what they read in a review or two...

Does anyone know how to switch the second player's name during multiplayer? It always comes up as the first player's name with a "(2)" after it. Thanks for your help.

Some of my favorite games:
Ghost Trick, StarFox 64, WarioLand: Shake It, Kid Icarus, The Legendary Starfy, Endless Ocean: Blue World, Zelda: Minish Cap, Pokemon Snap, Diamond Trust of London, Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Gyromite, and Sonic Generations(PS3).

Can anyone give me there opinions of the online MP of this game? I loved Mario Kart online on the Wii and since there is no Mario Kart for the Wii U. This will do me fine. However all the reviews seem to rate this highly but none of them really talk about the online MP. So for the people who have played this online on the Wii U. How is it? Any issues like major lag or connection problems.
