They're a company that doesn't just whore out sequels every year, besides a couple small exceptions. For example Smash Bros, instead of turning it into a yearly cash cow they take long gaps between games, so that every game gets it's own identity and the differences are stark. That's a reason I have no skepticism in buying Nintendo games, I know it'll always have some value as it won't be just an identityless stopgap by next year, besides obviously a few exceptions to an extent. (Mario Party 1-DS, Pokemon, NSMB)
Please invest in a free blog. You seem to have lots of opinions you want to put out on the internet. PLEASE JUST MAKE A BLOG
Sorry for trying to be positive here, since people think I'm some Nintendo hater.
I think people are just sick and tired of all the threads you make that aren't very different and are in the wrong section in the forum. If you want to post your opinions make a blog. If you want to have discussions with people then use a forum. You don't seem interesting in discussions and seem more interested in posting your opinion.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I wouldn't call Pokemon and Mario "small exceptions" considering they're Nintendo's two biggest franchises. Also, I would say Mario platformers as a whole have gotten to this point, not just NSMB (and NSMB by itself isn't yearly anyway, we've only gotten 4 of them in the span of 8 years).
oh c'mon.... r u for real?
whether you're a Nintendo hater, or lover, or whatchamacallit, you're overdoing this....
we get it, you got attacked and corrected by some forum members since you tend to write about the same thing a lot, but you're just killing this n.nU

The New Super Mario Bros games have been released at the same frequency as the Smash games.
2 years-6 years-6 years
4 years-1 year--0 years-0 years
Really?
Regardless of the time length, both series only get one game per console each generation.
Except Smash didn't get a DS game, so it's down one compared to NSMB. Time length is also a factor though, a clustered release schedule does tend to annoy people more (NSMB and Tropical Freeze are good examples of this).
