@bro2dragons That franchise is technically dead, since Itoi doesn't seem willing to do another entry to the Mother series, and Nintendo doesn't wanna make one without him, either.
@kkslider5552000 Funny enough, I hate MOBA, but like your idea, nonetheless. Yet the first thing that came to my mind was: "If Nintendo screws up the balancing, some amiibos will skyrocket in prices once again!"
@Bolt_Strike: You mean like Donkey Kong Jungle Beat? I'd like a second one, that game was funky fresh.
Hmm, well I've never played that game, but the combat looks a bit simplistic. I was thinking something more like the games I mentioned, where you have different types of combat moves and fight hordes of enemies. Like take something like this but with DK aesthetics and gameplay elements (i.e. replace the poles with ropes and vines, add in barrel cannons, etc.) and maybe a bit more platforming:
That's a difficult one. Open world game would be cool, but that's what Zelda is supposed to be. Western RPG would be a bit different, but it's also similar to what Zelda was meant to be in the NES era. First Person Shooter could be interesting, but Splatoon was already a third person one.
I'll go with MMORPG as well. Seems different enough from anything else Nintendo has made. Might even encourage them to finally get how 'online' works.
I'd like Nintendo to use the same sort of approach used in Smash, with a large offering of characters from video game land, in slightly more sim-like sports games. Mario Strikers is a great game but its crying out for expansion into 11-a-side and with a slightly less casual-crazy approach, while retaining the fun and humour. Then apply the same model to other sports.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

@CaviarMeths: Why would a dating sim sell millions? I love Phoenix Wright and 999, but dating sim doesn't exactly scream millions to me. Maybe a few hundred thousand... Maybe an eShop only title...
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
Nintendo does really well at adventure games, so I'd like to see another one of those. The Legend of Zelda and Metroid are excellent...as well as others I'm sure I'm missing because I haven't played every game ever.

Dry, deadpan humour is really hard to convey via text.
Seriously though, Nintendo's strong suits are solid gameplay mechanics and lush art styles. I'd like to see them try a character action game like Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, or Ninja Gaiden.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
@kyuubikid213: Yes, definitely. I'm super excited to see it tomorrow. There are just so many unanswered questions, and I really want to know who Sardonyx is. How about you?
Honestly, I thought there was a slight chance Nintendo was gonna announce an Amiibo MOBA.
Buhhhhhooooorrrriiiinnnggg. They already made Pikmin, that's their RTS like Splatoon is their third person shooter. Don't ask for them to make a worse game.
Hack 'N' Slash game with a deep combat system & different characters to play as, a bit like DMC 4.
A hybrid RPG a bit like Borderlands with a massive open-world to fully explore with secrets to discover, with a deep combat system with super abilities etc.
@banacheck: I think that's a considerable idea, but Nintendo probably wouldn't use guns unless they wanted to appeal more older buyers. I bet'chu swords and dragons, but even Dragon Quest exists.
Wavedashes behind you Got some of dat Maylay?
