Topic: So.. Fire Emblem Wii U.

Excluding Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, who wants a Fire Emblem game for the Wii U?

The gamepad seems very fitting for it.
I'm kind of hoping for a world map like in Awakening and Sacred Stones if they did decide to make a FE Wii U game, world maps are so much easier.
I'm sure we will get a real FE Wii U game in time, since of the success in Awakening, but it would have to sell over 700k units in NA if they where to make one, but didn't Awakening sell 390k in NA all ready?

The next two rpg projects from IS are SMT x Fire Emblem for Wii U and a yet unannounced 3DS game which has been hinted at being a new Advance Wars. Unless SMT x FE sells a crapload of copies the chances of a WII U game is very slim due to the dev cost to profit ratio and the low install base.

@Emblem except Advance wars wasn't RPG the last time I played one.....

I think Awakening managed to combine all the best aspects of Fire Emblem. I'd like to assume they wouldn't drop a feature like the world map for a future release. For a console Fire Emblem release I'd normally say no, but given we have the gamepad I look forward to it.

Since I just got into the series with Awakening, I would honestly love to a new FE come to Wii U, since the gamepad would be perfect for giving the same vibe from Awakening.

Though, I'm planning to play them soon, I honestly don't know of the quality of the console entries in the series, but with the two screens, I feel a Wii U version could make it worthwhile.

Here's hoping Wii U sells a lot so Intelligent Systems can get moving on this project.

I really love fire emblem and i would love to have a fire emblem game for this system
it would also make an even better game lineup for people to buy more wii u's

I think SMTxFE will pretty much be the FE for Wii U. Then after that an Awakening sequel will be on 3DS.

I wish they'd made a sequel to Radiant Dawn. I love Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn so much that I'd like nothing more than to revisit that world, except this time in HD.

Another thing I'd like to see is a Fire Emblem fighting game in the vein of Soul Calibur.

It's a decent idea, for Wii U specifically, but considering with the crossover we'll already have FE on Wii U and it'd be smart to keep up momentum on 3DS, I doubt we'll see one for quite some time.
