By what sick logic? Some lonely people post a comment with the sole purpose of getting people to reply to them and that means they've 'won'? Won what exactly, besides pity and attention?

I understand, but the people who troll genuinely think that their opinions are fact. The people who think Wii U isn't as powerful as even Xbox 360/PS3 actually think there are facts to back up such a claim.
It would be like if I said PSP was better than 3DS. We all know that isn't true.
There's a difference between a troll that genuinely thinks things are worse than they actually are vs. a troll that knows what they say isn't true and are joking.

I'm taking strictly specs wise, not which ones I like more.
Wii U>Xbox 360/PS3
3DS>PSP
Wii>Xbox/GCN/PS2
It should be a known fact by now that even the weakest console of every gen is stronger than the strongest console of last gen.

Looks like Nintendo finally got a fix on storage port option as mentioned on Nintendo Direct.

Howzabout we wait until the April update comes out until we start lambasting it for what it did and didn't do?

...

Just a thought. Carry on.

C'mon man.
These gens don't even match up.

Four more months until Bayonetta 2.

@MANIAC911
I was bringing improvements from last to current gen into the discussion. People thought Wii U was weaker specs wise compared to Xbox 360/PS3, which is false. That was the point I was making.
I already know Xbox was most powerful during GCN/PS2, and PS3 had some moderate advantages over Xbox 360 and about double of Wii.
Nintendo consoles have always AT LEAST been better than the last gen offerings for last and this gen, that is good enough for an entry in the console market. Besides, Nintendo can basically compete with ANY market if they choose to do so when it comes to gaming, tablet, and mobile applications thanks to the GamePad. Nintendo has adapted the mobile market as well as improving the console market. You'll see.
We could compare consoles all we want, but looking back at past consoles, we can determine a worthwhile improvement vs. a not so worthwhile improvement.
Specs and hardware matter to an extent, but not under all circumstances.

Looks like Nintendo finally got a fix on storage port option as mentioned on Nintendo Direct. A new feature "the ability to move & copy data between 2 USB drives" according to Iwata. It's a long wait but finally it's here.

Unbelievable! Looks like Nintendo forgot to address the problem with the Wii U in-game voice chat feature. This could have been done long ago with a software fix to make a 3rd party bluetooth headset sync with the Wii U or they could make a proprietary Bluetooth headset. Somehow Nintendo missed the opportunity. We'll have to settle for now with a rudementary voice chat more ancient compared with that found on PS3 & Xbox 360. Nintendo what's wrong with you?

To be fair, the headphone jack headsets are pretty easy to get and cheap, so they win for wired headsets.
I KINDA want a wireless headset, but I'm still not buying a super expensive one if they do come out. I have surround sound going, so it would be kinda pointless for me to buy one of those virtual surround sound headsets they sell.
Some places do sell wireless headphone jack headphones with a mic BTW.

What I'm talking about is not about buying headset. I got 3 bluetooth headsets as well as countless of headphones (my kids headphones included) in my house. I'm using my iPhone headphone for my Wii U & it works OK. What I'm talking about is the missing feature of the Wii U that's yesterdays technology. The Wii U wireless in-game voice feature is missing. It troubled me cuz that's yesterdays technology left out of what's being called an innovative game console. There's only one mic input jack on the Wii U & it's in the Gamepad. if you wanna use a pro controller to play & voice chat in-game then you have to carry the Gamepad with you to chat. Now that's a very odd way to do it on a new console. Let's face it, the Wii U in-game voice chat feature is so ancient & broken. Criterion on NFS: Most Wanted tried to fix the problem by enabling the mic on the Gamepad but it's a hit or miss & still doesn't address the fact that the pro controller is missing a mic input jack. Nintendo needs to address this particular issue by updating the Wii U's firmware to accept syncing of 3rd party bluetooth headset devices. We don't have to wait for more than a year for Nintendo to fix it.

All I got to say is, they're improving the system constantly. Today's Nintendo Direct showed that they aren't just sitting around and eating Cheetos.
I can understand wanting to use headsets for guests or other console IDs using the usb jack on top(which will probably happen), but this stuff doesn't happen overnight.
The wireless USB headset from PDP works for Wii U FYI, and why do you have multiple bluetooth sets? That makes no sense.
The complaint of bluetooth is old news, Xbox 360 didn't have that, and everyone dealt with it in time. Wii U and Wii both have bluetooth, but it's probably used for a more dedicated controller connection.

EDIT: Maybe I should word this better... Nintendo probably has a higher priority than voice chat if they aren't working on it right now. It's not impossible to have bluetooth on Wii U, but they do have to program their console to do that. That alone takes time, and it might not be what they are working at this time, say, over next weeks update.
Or if they made it so that 3DS works for the console. That would be a better tradeoff for bluetooth headsets, but that doesn't mean it won't happen just because it doesn't happen first.

Plugging a transceiver on the console to make it work is not a solution. Nintendo needs to update the Wii U firmware to sync a 3rd party bluetooth headset or make a proprietary bluetooth headset that works on Wii U. What they have right now is a broken system. A current gen console that's about 7 years old has a better voice chat implementation than the Wii U.

Nintendo doesn't have to go for a hardware revision rather than just do a software patch on the Wii U & we don't have to wait for it a year later. There's no excuse for Nintendo not to fix this problem.

Nop, the Xbox 360 had a bluetooth headset. In fact, I owned 2 Xbox 360 bluetooth headsets (black & the green original Halo edition).

You should read my edit. They probably have something better to worry about than bluetooth headset. The headphone jack is plenty for most people, and it's there.
I don't really care for online voice chat that much anyway and I never did, so it doesn't bother me.
