Topic: Smash Bros Wii U Deluxe Bundle.... still some hope?

So recently we got an image going around about a Smash Bros Wii U 32GB Bundle and lots (including myself) wanted this bundle! it was probably very anticipated (by myself, anyway)

since then most have probably heard that the image is fake... i cannot say enough how disappointed i was when i saw it fake... BUT there is still hope as since this is probably a must-have for Nintendo to do as many who don't have a Wii U yet (including me, which is why i wanted this so much) REALLY want a bundle so it might just happen!

on other news, there is a Basic 8GB Smash Bundle listing on Amazon UK but many want the 32GB. do you want a 32GB? post your feeling below!

I'm sure Nintendo will release a Smash Bundle. I can't see them not doing so. Smash is a big IP for them, so I expect them to take full advantage of the hype.

Probably Christmas 2015 since we are getting the summer release MK8 this holiday. I can't even find SSBU bundled with the Mario amiibo like the UK is getting here in the US. No bundles, no sales, nothing, and I've bene looking for an excuse to buy SSBU Day 1 rather than wiat until Christmas but it looks like Chritsmas for us.

My guess is they are going to wait until Smash Bros sales start lowering then release a bundle when Splatoon comes out, to help push Splatoon, and that bundle will become the new normal bundle for Wii U. So every future Wii U owner will have Smash bros and possibly the GameCube adapter.

I think they will announce it a few days before launch. I can honestly see them silently releasing a press release and it just show up in stores on smash release day. (at least for the territories that are getting it this month) or they could wait until global release and then release a bundle. I'd be shocked if they didn't have some sort of holiday bundle going on. 3D World is a year old. While a lovely game if folks haven't bought it by now they aren't going to jump just because its the holiday season.

I don't think an official bundle will make anywhere near as much difference as people seem to think. I know things are different in US, but in the UK you can buy a Wii U and Smash Bros for Wii U for way under £250, which is what the bundle would cost, and we wouldn't see retailers discounting it for at least a month, by which point the holiday season is gone.

If £180 for a Wii U and Smash won't tempt them, a £250 official bundle definitely won't.

under £250 and £180 for both? which shop is that?! the reason i wanted a smash bundle is to not only get smash bros and a wii u, but to get it cheap. (and there was a Smash GC Controller and adapter )
