Topic: Small Problem with Wii U Disc

Well, this problem seems to be very trivial, but I am investigating anyway. It happens that my Pikmin 3 disc cover is slowly tearing (I mean the paper of the disc cover) and I guess that it is because of the heat generated while spinning inside of the console. The bottom of the disc, which is what matters, is as if today were its first gaming day. The disc has about 60 hours of use. To date I have no problem with the operation of the disc.

I worry about two things:
1- The one I consider unlikely and which im not worried about as the part that reads wii u is intact: that for some reason this disk malfunction.
2- That the particles torn from the cover of the disc reach an internal element of the console, as the optical reader ...

What do you think i should do?

Contact Nintendo and see if they will replace it.

Well, i don´t care much about the disc, although i love pikmin 3 and so i don´t want to stop playing it!

The thing that matters to me is to know if these particles tearing off somewhere inside the wii u could make the console ruin itself!

3 options:

1. contact Nintendo

or

2. never use this disc again and:
_{2.1 keep it in your collection but get another one just to play
2.2 get rid of this one and get a new one}

I just contacted nintendo!

Choosing not to play Pikmin 3 anymore would really hurt me and also would hurt me to spend another $60 on a game i already finished (the story but not the missions)....

It's just their way to make used copy less attractive. _{It seems to work with the easily dirtied 3DS carts.}
