The Nintendo World store is being revamped and the new layout has a mirrored Skyward Sword screenshot (Link is left handed and everything seems mirrored as if it was given the reverse Twilight Princess treatment). Thoughts?
Oh god spare me another Zelda remake. I'm sure it's a coincidence with the art, and I doubt they'd remake both the Wii LoZ games so soon after one another and that one is even newer than Twilight Princess, it barely turned 4 years old in November.
....................Well that took a lot less time than I thought it would. I knew people were going to immediately jump to that conclusion after seeing that mock-up, which is exactly what that is and all that it is...

Just render Skyward Sword in 1080p and you get a beautiful (looking) game. There is no need to change anything more than the resolution. The Art style is so great.
Skyward Sword would be a lot more playable in 720p with the ~20~ meter hazy filter removed, but controlling the combat system is a quagmire, so I guess some moldy pizzas will just have to stay in the trash.
Skyward Sword could be done on Wii U without motion controls. They could set it up to have tilt in the gamepad control which way you slash sort of like how slashing was controlled in No More Heroes. Holding the gamepad more/less on any more vertical angle would give you a vertical slash tilting downward would give you a horizontal slash. The powered strike he does could just be done by holding down A while the gamepad is in a vertical position.
I'm not talking turning the gamepad in all sorts of ways just very subtle tilts would get the job done.
Current Switch Games: Super Mario Odyssey, Legend of Zelda BoTW, Mario Kart 8, Splatoon 2, Resident Evil Revelations Collection, Doom, Skyrim, Rogue Trooper, Volgarr the Viking, Blaster Master Zero, Elliot Quest, and Rive
it wouldnt be hard to replicate diagonal by just slightly titling left & right while slighting tilting up or down...think Splatoon subtle movements...
As far as remake for looks its not about looks its about having a different control scheme that doesn't polarize players ,and opens the game up to a new audience

I say yes. Because I would rather it be remade to use the Game Pad button controls instead of having to swing the Wii remote to attack. But if I could have used the Classic Controller to have played the Wii original, I would have said no. I just didn't like playing Skyward Sword or Twilight Princess because of the Wii remote controls. Buttons all the way.
