Surprised that you haven't seen it.
It's been released in Australia so you guys would normally (but not always) have it at the same time.
If you've been checking non-game stores, look in the Wii section... it's not easy to distinguish one platform version from another with the packaging used...

Yes, it is out in the UK. @Buzzthebatgirl told me hers is shipping in from Zavvi so if worse comes to worse, you can try looking there. It's much better than the Wii version...

I'd like to say that I recommend my my Backloggery, but I haven't updated it in a long time!

C'mon mate, you mean I play COD as if I play Skylanders all the time... which isn't true... I play Skylanders some of the time - my 9 y.o. nephew loves it that I play some of his kind of games ... whips my arse at some of them... ;)

Nothing wrong with that :) I'm 47 and play COD and Skylanders Giants as well, funny this is... when I look at the activity log I see that I put over 40 hours into Skylanders Giants and less than 10 into COD so far... it's just fun!!

well i don't know how @buzzthebatgirl has ordered it from zavvi as they don't even have it listed on there website. They have the normal Wii version so she may have ordered wrong. If someone can find a link for the UK version to buy i would be very grateful.

Well, you can be sure that a PAL Wii U version does exist, because I have one. I will take pics if people believe it didn't happen, but I'm away from a PC at the moment.

The original Portal will work with all Giants versions(except the 3DS one because that uses a different one entirely). They changed that because people kept complaining about changing the batteries.

I guess 25 hours of play on one set of batteries is ridicilous, people should quit complaining and buy some decent batteries, I use Duracell.

You can buy the wireless Wii Portal on Ebay (it also works fine with the Wii U game), make sure you get one with the USB receiver because most people are selling them separate at sometimes ridicilous prices.

I use the Bluetooth Portal from the Battlegrounds set, it works with the iOS games and comes with a wire for the PC and game console. So it will work with everything but the 3DS game. I'm getting a Bluetooth USB reciever soon, which SHOULD let it work with them wirelessly, but I agree people should just suck it up and buy better batteries. I much prefer having a wireless Portal because it fits in with the story a lot better and is plain more fun. And I'm not saying everyone would or should but it's not that difficult to buy a pack of batteries. I actually got one set to last for months(though granted, I only played for part of a day a week across those months).
... This reminds me, I'll have to replay SA soon...
