I started playing "Stick it to the Man" that was released a couple of days ago, and one of the jokes in the game is about beating "Silver Surfer on the NES". I'm unfamiliar with the Silver Surfer game myself. Is there anyone else who have played both "Stick it to the Man" and Silver Surfer that could tell me if that joke is supposed to make any sense?
Silver Surfer for the NES is a real game. It's a shmup, and it would be at least playable if it wasn't for the excessive difficulty. Anything and everything (Including touching walls) will kill you in one hit.
"Silver Surfer on the NES" is Silver Surfer is a video game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Software Creations and released by Arcadia Systems in November 1990 in the United States. Silver Surfer is primarily known for its strong difficulty[1][2][3] and highly-praised music.[4][5]
