Topic: Should there be another Nintendo 3D platformer for Wii U?

Or would Super Mario 3D World last until the next console?

I would want any of the following:

Super Mario Sunshine 2
Wario & Waluigi 3D World
Donkey Kong 3D Land

I want to see Super Luigi 3D World

There will be a new 3D Mario game before this generation's out. "NINTENDO" confirmed that they're developing a new 3D Mario game either for "WII U" or "3DS". Most likely it will be for "WII U" as it needs more games.

I'd like:
Super Mario Galaxy 3
Donkey Kong World

Which wouldn't be any different to Super Mario 3D World, really.

I'd want:
An epic Mario 3D game e.g. Super Mario Sunshine 2, Galaxy 3 or a new game entirely.
A game starring Waluigi. Why hasn't he gottten his own game if he's such a recurring character, except in Smash?

We definitely need some sort of collectathon platformer. I don't care what series, just make a new one.

A game that I would want is a new 3D DK game in a similar vein to DK64. It doesn't necessarily have to be a sequel, just a similar gameplay style.

Sonic Lost World and 3D World are enough 3D Platformers for me for the foreseeable future.

(I would get Rodeo the Sky Soldier because I like games that are different).

Any (2D or 3D) platformer that isn't legendary I am not bothered about - totally burnt out with them.

Super Luigi Sunshine, perhaps? Instead of Super Mario Sunshine 2.

Similar gameplay but more difficult levels and a new special playable character (like Nabit). Basically just like Super Luigi U compared to Super Mario Bros U.

Wario World 2. Co-op with Wario, Waluigi, Captain Syrup and Mona as playable characters

They should make a full 3D Kirby game. Not a 2.5D one.

Dear God no. Mario is diluted enough right now, the last thing we need is another marginal upgrade to the same formula they've been using for the last 7 years.

I would like to see this as well. Maybe they could make it Metroidvania style like Great Cave Offensive and Amazing Mirror.

Well I don't think that is what they did with 3D World. Just different Opinions, but I would really enjoy Super Luigi 3D World.

I'd love a new IP in the form of a 3D platformed like we got with Banjo and Conker on the N64, but I'd be happy with a fully 3D Mario in the style of SM64 and the Galaxy games. 3D World is great, but it's just not the same as those epic single player games.

I wouldn't mind a new game like Mario 64, with 3D Worlds mechanics. The gravity mechanic in Galaxy was nice but it was just slightly less linear than 3D World (in my opinion)

Well I don't think they necessarily need a new IP for that because they can simply fall back on Mario, but maybe they have a neat idea for how to revive the genre that would warrant one.

Yes, I'd love to see a real 3D Platformer unlike 3D World. In other words, a game who's mechanics don't contradict the addition of a dimension.
