No. Tomodachi doesn't deserves to be on Wii U. The minigames and social life was horrible. It's a ripoff of Sims. Expect that gays aren't allowed.

Some random dude on Nintendo Life.
Toriel left for a while, so Freaky Fred took over her place!
Not changing this part of the signature until Nintendo announces Super Mario Sunshine 2.

No, it wouldn't work. Tomodahi Life's pick-up-and-play style of gameplay is best suited for portables.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

However, that just gave me an idea. Tomodachi Life as it currently plays is perfectly suited to a handheld device, but if they were to develop a spin off that resembled The Sims, it might be more suited to a console.

But I like Tomodachi Life the way it is - there's plenty of room for improvement, and I'd really like to see a sequel.

On the 3DS.

As said, Tomodachi Life is better suited for a handheld device because it's a 15 minutes a day game.
But that doesn't mean that a touch of Tomodachi Life couldn't be brought to the next home console.
For example, instead of Miis gathering in the WaraWara Plaza, it would be nice to have them gather in something more lively, like Tomodachi Island. And instead of having just a plain Friend List, why not having the Tomodachi Condo, where everytime you add a new friend, he "moves in". And you can see what they are up to like the CPU Miis in Tomodachi Life, for example, if one of your friends is playing online, his Mii would be playing. Or if he's not playing, the Mii would be sleeping or doing other simple things like petting a cat etc...

Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

I think Tomodachi Life is better on a handheld. It's a game I can pickup, play for a few minutes, save and put away for later. It's easier to do that on a handheld but if they made it much more in depth than I guess it could work on a home console.

I'm starting to feel like handheld games are the "animated cartoon" of the gaming industry. No one can accept it for it's own merits anymore. Just like Animation is for some reason disregarded as an inferior medium for kids, handheld games seem to be regarded as on an inferior platform, from which the best games should be ported to console.

Some games just work better on a portable system, and Tomodachi Life is one of them.

Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F

They could have done so much more with the mini-games. Heck, if they had some worthwhile, it would almost be worth it to buy as a DLC. Or what if they integrated with Mario Golf?

If they did something like this, I think it should be more well thought out- that said, Tomodachi Life was mildly amusing. I've had decent fun with it.

It doesn't matter to me if the next one would be on a console or a portable. Even if it is a game you can only play so long.

I haven't played the game, but if it was released on Wii U or a future home console, there would be changes made to better suit that system. Similar to how Animal Crossing has evolved over the years by switching between portable and home system design.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I would like to see a version where you get the handheld version and you get a console one for free so you can go and play it on the bus or something but when you are at home you can sit down and start playing on your HD screen.

I want to say it better suited for handhelds but then again Animal Crossing was on home consoles and the Pokemon Channel was on the GameCube, so maybe the extra space and processing power can add some new elements. Maybe using the mic so you can talk to the miis and facial recognition so they know who they are talking to.

A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.
