The notion that the Wii U is short of games is a myth, unless someone is playing like 6-8 hours per day. Since the original Playstation pretty much dispensed with the Seal of Quality idea, most consoles (including Wii) have been saturated with games; too many to possibly play 100%.

For me, the satisfaction of playing one game in full, and becoming an expert, is more satisfying than trying a lot of games on a superficial level. But I would also say that if you're no longer enjoying a game, stop playing it. As soon as it becomes a chore it's not worth it.

I'm about to try to play Fallout 4 and Xenoblade Chronicles X at the same time. I'm so excited for both I might have to alternate playing them by day. The release dates on these are too close. I can't even imagine if Zelda U hadn't been delayed.

Currently Playing: SMITE, ROTTR, Halo 5: Guardians (XB1), Xenoblade Chronicles X (WiiU), Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 2 (3DS)

I'm a pretty busy person and have other hobbies besides gaming, so I normally focus on one or two games at a time. Normally one is a type of action/adventure game or RPG, and the other is a game with little to no plot. I also have some odd rules, like not playing more than one RPG at a time (so I can focus more on the story) and not playing more than one game in the same franchise.

For example, right now I'm playing both Omega Ruby (though I've been starting/stopping it on and off for the past few months) and New Super Mario Bros. U. The latter is a standard 2D Mario game, which has your normal, simplified Mario plot.

Currently playing: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Switch)
