You might be able to get your games back by calling in to Nintendo and seeing if they will transfer them. There is no guarantee, but they transferred all of mine in the past except for one of my Club Nintendo games I earned.

Unless there is a game that you are really missing or one of the handful of games you missed it is hard to say buying a Wii U is worth it at this point. I still play mine a lot, but content has dried up especially on the Wii U. I find more to do on my 3ds honestly.

At this point in time I would say wait until the NX comes out. Seeing that you sold the Wii U once already kinda means that you weren't satisfied with it.

@Ginofresh Are there any particular games catching your eye?

What happened to your first Wii U? Did you leave your NNID on it?

I bought a used Wii U with games on it and the seller gave me the password so that I could change the password and link his NNID to my email account, so now his NNID is mine. What I'm saying is, if you gave your NNID to someone else, the games associated with it are no longer yours to redownload.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

Pick up a used one if I were you. Wii U is a one of a kind, and if you really like Nintendo, you'll regret not keeping one.
