Topic: Should Daisy have her own universe?

In the Mario family, Donkey Kong, Wario, and Yoshi all have their own universes with their own characters, villans, and enimies. Is it time for Daisy to have her own as well? Nintendo is no stranger to breaking off Mario characters into their own sub-IP's, so should the Princess of Sarasaland get her own?

What does Daisy even do besides serve as filler in spinoff games? Legit question because I haven't played Super Mario Land whatever game it is she appears in the main series.

I think if there's any character that deserves their own universe, it's Rosalina. She actually has a distinct universe set apart from the rest of the Mario universe and a gameplay style (Galaxy) different enough from the traditional Mario gameplay they like pushing now to pass as a separate series.

There are many realistic expectations i'd love to see Nintendo defy, but Daisy, as much as I like playing as Daisy, is far down that particular list for me. Closer to the top would be something like a modern Murasame Castle adventure game.

Heck, even a traditional Samus Aran game is seemingly moving beyond the realm of realistic expectations these days

...No. Really, what could they do with her? DK, Yoshi and Wario have a lot more that can be done by giving them their own games than Daisy. Rosalina is more deserving of that. They could do a game involving her going around the universe or something. Heck, Waluigi is more deserving of his own game (which I would totally buy)!

Daisy can go have her own universe so she can get lost in it and leave the rest of us alone

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

But who would save her when she gets kidnapped again for the millionth time? Isn't that all she's about?

@MightyKrypto: Did you just confuse Daisy with Peach? Cause Daisy only been kidnapped once.

The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

I'm currently playing Resident Evil 4 Remake & Manhunt

No? It's like giving Birdo a spinoff game. Waluigi, Rosalina, and other fan favorites don't even have spinoff games, so why give Daisy a game?

I'd prefer as playing as the duck things on peach beach in Mariokart DD.

They're called Cataquacks. That actually isn't that bad an idea, but I think Galaxy's exhausted about all they can do with them.

Sure. If not,I would like the Mario Bros return to Sarasaland. They haven't been there since Mario Land?

My God, this. I pull the FDS out of storage at least once per year to play Murasame. And the FDS versions of Metroid and LoZ as well, of course.

Rosalina has gotten more attention than any new Mario character.

I would love for more attention and backstories be given to the under appreciated characters like Daisy, the Koopalings, and even Waluigi. It's taken decades for Toad to even get his own game.

We don't need to give every single character their own game, they wouldn't be able to manage all of that. I'd be on board for a game full of underused characters once to give us a break from the slew of repetitive Mario games, but as far as longstanding series, it probably wouldn't have the brand power.

As far as giving Rosalina a game, it's not just because she's popular. It's also because the collectathon genre has gotten the shaft from Nintendo. The last game Nintendo's done in that style was 5 years ago, or over a decade ago if you don't count Galaxy. Giving her a dedicated series could be a good way of keeping that gameplay style alive.
