It'll come to the WiiU eventually. Capcom ports everything everywhere, no worries. Epic Mickey 2 surprised me though, but it's not like it's a big loss. The first games was bad IMO and the second one is coming to the Wii anyway.

If they make a special WiiU Resi it better be fixed camera angles non over the shoulder ditch the alien BOWs go back to zombies n Nemesis type enemies remove the chapter episodic progression and constant escort/team mechanic it should be a winner. This won't happen but I can only dream.

Had Resident Evil: revelations ditched those mindless shoot out espidodic chapters and just stuck to the main game with Jill, fixed the wierd choppy slowdown in parts and ditched the escort/team mechanic 'Revelations' would of had a better lasting impression. Overall i thought it was just a luke warm 'good'....Reviews seem to be overrating it a smidge, but that's because it's just a solid portable effort i guess.
I really do miss the zombies though....The ooze's were alright, but nothing beats the undead in Racoon city like in RE3: nemesis.
RE1(PS1 Original) RE2 and RE3 were the best. After that RE has never quite been the same.....I consider that the ultimate RE trilogy, when RECV reared it's ugly head i officially got tired of the franchise. Remake was good, but eh...Just didn't have the impact whatsoever that the original had on me.

Remakes of 2 & 3 would be the way to go. None of the new games have beat that feeling of isolation in a city of the dead even though the graphics have aged I still pop my gamecube discs in every year takes me back to the golden era of awesomeness.

lol I'd consider the PSX/N64 the semi 'poop' era of gaming(Most of the titles have aged pretty badly, and the fact that most titles were rocking 3D graphics instead of 2D sprites completely derailed me....Even so, i was a big PS1 freak with splashes of the N64 here and there) The NES & SNES get the golden era award there's no question about it..
And I'll add you in a bit.

Is it just me or would anyone else prefer a Wii U exclusive Resi?? I mean, disregard the Chronicles series (although I DID find them fun), would anyone else prefer it if Capcom confirmed a Revelations-style exclusive??
Nintendo since 1978

Cheers WaveBoy and yes I think the golden era was NES, SNES, Master System and Megadrive but I was referring to the Resi Evil series on the cube, ha ha.I had a Saturn then moved on to Dreamcast in the PSX/N64 battle so I skipped the overhyped era.

If they bring it over to the Wii U, I might get it if it's good enough. If they choose not to, then oh well, because I doubt it'll be as good as Revelations anyway from the look of it so far.

What? Revelations recieved positive reviews...it didn't exactly 'bomb hard'.
As for Resi 6...I'm one of the few people that were glad when Capcom moved away from zombies. Resident Evil is about BOWs and biological warfare...not just 'zombies' (which are being milked to death now in all forms of media). Don't get me wrong...it's cool to see the traditional shambling dead return in Resident Evil 6; I just think Capcom have recieved an unfair amount of flak for trying to evolve the series.
As for a Wii U release? Capcom have a strong relationship with Nintendo - I don't doubt we'll see a Resident Evil title on the console in the near future.

It bombed in sales. It was a critically acllaimed failure that cost a pretty penny.

Almost the same as but a little bit better than the outbreak series on PS2. Raid mode has alot of attention around the globe you are always guaranteed a decent list from beginners to moderate to expert players on all difficulty levels and thats what makes it the best resi multiplayer. I dont know about this bombed hard shananigans its only been out a few months and alot of people seem to be playing it. Now back to finishing abyss level

What are you talking about? It made the top charts in Japan, UK, and the US on debut, and sold over 100,000 in the U.S. a month after release.

Yup, and currently the game sold approximately 530k worldwide as of now which is not in any form a Commercial failure, Disappointing compared to Operation Raccon city? Yes, but still a moderate success.
As for RE6, I don't really mind, I played all the numbered games on the PS3, so I do prefer having the main games on one system myself. Just hope a part of RE6 lives up to its namesake... Leon don't fail me now.

I recall someone from. Capcom saying the game didn't meet expectations. Maybei should changemy expectations for handheld games but looking at vgchartz as of April 7th thegame has only sold half a million copies. While not a failure those sales numbers aren't that impressive.

VGcharts isn't a very reliable source (they say that it sold only 5,000ish in March, when it was already reported that it sold 100,000 in March), but even so, that isn't a bad Number. I only recall Capcom mentioning that they expected to sell 300,00 in the first week, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't make that, since I'd imagine it'd get steady sales rather than high day one sales anyways.

Well the sells are decent and you'd want a game with legs. But I wouldn't be surprised that this is bad kn their eyes.

I wouldn't be speaking too soon. Capcom have been pretty supportive of the 3DS and there is, apparently, another new RE coming to the 3DS. Besides, look at how many other devs are doing the whole "oh no, nothing for Wii U" thing but then throwing large hints. Seriously people wait for E3, it's not that long away.
I know the whole cloak and dagger thing is supposed to be to guve us a major blow out at e3 and blow our socks off but it seems like quite a gamble of juggling 3ds and wii u in 70 minutes. There's a reason why companies like microsoft and apple have things like ces, build, and wwdc to get people prepared before the main blowout.
Have you even watched a Nintendo E3 press conference before? They do a handfull of game demos on stage but the rest is mostly montages. Look at the E3 2006 list of games they revealed for the Wii and DS, most of that was just a couple of seconds of gameplay footage. Not only that but even with time to talk about Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Red Steel, Excite Truck, Disaster and Project Hammer (lol) they still managed to fit in New SMB, Yoshi's Island, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Phantom Hourglass for the DS. This time we've also got Nintendo Direct trickling some of that info before E3.
Besides, remember something else from that E3? Microsoft announced GTA4 for 360. That took up barely any time at all and yet it was still massive. So they don't need a heap of time to drop a bombshell.
