I've nicked my gamepad by accident (it's very minute) and it's messing with the touch controls, causing the area where the scratch to press whatever button on the screen nonstop, as if I was just tapping on the screen on the same place. I know most (if not all) screen repair kits would MAJORLY screw up a touch screen, but is there anything else I can do? :/

Yep what OneZeoN said is true. You are going to have to call Nintendo and probably send it in for repair. Once you get it fixed I suggest picking up some screen protectors.

Can I ask how you managed to scratch it?

My friend dropped it, I was pretty angry.

Bad times. I remember a friend of mine dropping my first DS onto concrete outside. Broke the microphone so I could no longer play WarioWare.
